We finally got our visa in a hand a couple of weeks ago.... have spent the last fortnight not quite believing it!.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the invaluable help and advice on this site from everybody, and good luck to everyone still going through it.

Congrats!! may I ask did you call DOS or did you just get the letter in the mail?

I called NVC because we are on the CR1 route and then they sent us an email with all the details a few hours later - apparently this is the week for scheduling so I would keep hassling them!

we've filed for the CR1 so I don't think we have to do Packet 3 (??) I think now NVC has approved everything we are just waiting for an interview date.... but I could be wrong!

My husband and I got our case complete on Jan 20th so have our fingers crossed for a March interview... does anyone know if this is likely?

Congrats to everyone for their recent NOA2's!!

I have a quick question - we got our case complete on the 20th and as yet the AVR hasn't updated to say that they have forwarded the case to the embassy. I've tried to get through to speak to an operator but as you know the lines are pretty crazy right now.... does the lack of updates on the AVR mean that NVC still have our file - or could they have sent it out already?

Ok, They say it is opened in the order of when it was recived. And another person on this board sent there the same as me and theres is shown as recived but mine No. why is this. Im just so Annoyed im taking a break from this for tonight. I cant handle this any more.

think you might be looking at my dates. I honestly don't think you need to worry because although they've logged my ds 230 - I sent the AOS at the same time (ie over a week ago) and they are still not saying that they've received that.

Honestly it's not lost, NVC just like to take their sweet time!! - I'm sure our papers are just on a desk waiting to be looked at.

We only sent the packets in on Jan 6th so I was shocked to see any updates at all. Will call and speak to an 'actual person' in the week!
