  1. Thanks Irr1998 your info is good and i've been preparing myself for those questions and i know they will definately ask. Our love is pure from the heart and i believe God will guide me on my interview day for that reason. And for other VJers preparing for interview or still filing, things will work-out for our own good no doubt.

Thanks all i cant wait for the day to come.

  2. Well apparently i have two sponsors (my wife and her brother). My wife couldn't meet the poverty level that was given to their state Hawaii due to the fact that she has 2 dependants (Parents) already. Her brother doesn't have anyone making me the only dependant her has. The both are sending their recent Tax documents.

What do you think? Is that okay?

  3. Thanks guys. well for the first comment up there.

    She's older

    She's american (White)

And the visit was once like i said (with reasons of her parent situation)

But she had pictures with my ppl (My mom and family).

Never been married and no kids yet

On my appointment letter they want me to provide the recent tax return, is that how it is to everyone? did they request for it?

I just wanna be sure of things then prepare myself. my wife is planning to send the recent tax but i want to be sure why they ask.

    thanks again and God bless

  5. Hi All VJ friends and thanks for the advises and support for get me to this stage. My interview date is April 16th and im arranging all evidences my wife sent to me, preparing for my medical next week, and reading some questions on here.

I feel i will be okay but i just want someone to tell me if this might be a problem or not. I met my wife August 2007 online and since then we've been keeping in-touch everyday till she visited June 2009. and we did a court marriage July 4 2009. She filed the I-130 sometimes August.

I just wanna know if its matter on the number of time she visited which is just ones. She's from Honolulu and Im here in Nigeria, i was considering the cost, distance and someone as to stay to assist her mom.

How will the CO view this?

Any suggestion will be very helpful

  6. Well i don't work now since june 23 2009 , since at that date i went to visit my wife ,and i have to quit my job, since my employer did not want to approve my leave off absence,,.

While i was in visit here, we got NOA 2 and i decided to stay till all this is done,of course i need to find sponsor, and i find two , that are my parent, i dont think this will be a problem at interview.

Okay thanks its good to know it has nothing to do with the interview.

  7. we are waiting for our NOA2 at the moment, unfortunately i received bad news from my employer telling me that they will close the pharmacy this 1st week of February where i currently employed here in the Philippines .upon discussion with this matter to my fiancee we've got a lot of question which somehow bothers us....Does being unemployed can affect my interview in the consulate? and the approval of my vissa?....we need some information about this things, anyone can help us pls...thank you so much and looking forward for your response.

Hi All, I'm almost in the same situation but i still have my job. I just want to know what will be the consequence if i leave my job before the interview has its starting to cause issues keeping in touch with my wife. I've getting really busy that im hardly getting online to talk to her, or call or over the phone. My suggestion is that, since my interview is coming up sometime March i should leave the work to have enough time for my wife and preparation. My wife is really feeling bad about my commitment to work these days. Anyway idea or response will be great for me.

    Thanks

  8. Thanks , finally we got email from NVC for pay IV fee. Hope my case can complete about end of November....!!! Good luck to everyone.

Hi guys, i was reading through all the post concerning the DS3032 and DS230 and i thought i just add from the little that i've experienced so far. The DS3032 is one part that opens way for the next step which is the DS230 without the DS3032 NVC will believe you are not ready to move to the next level (Sending DS230 packet)

AOS is also another part played by the petitioner to prove the he/she is capable of taking responsibilities of the immigrant, that's why the I864 form is attached to it.

AOS is a part for the petitioner while DS3032 open ways for DS230 after your DS3032 is been received either by mail or email. Mine took 3weeks via email

For those who prefer mathematically ways of explanation; i will say....

    Petitioner AOS + Beneficiary DS3032 (DS230) = Case Complete.....lol

  9. Thanks guys, i even called the NVC after posting this issue, i gave the operator the Receipt number because apparently she asked for the case number and i said we dont have it yet and thats why i called. she checked and said they haven't receive it that i should give it 2weeks and call back.

And yes i have all the document expect the DS3230 which i believe i need to get from the NVC via email, my question now is can i send all that now while still waiting for the case number and no DS3230 yet?

I asked the NVC operator about the I129F and she said there is no way to stop the I129F all i can do is when the embassy call i should tell them i want to go for the CR1 so ill wait.

  10. Hello everyone,

We got approval for both I130 and I129F, we got a letter today saying case will be transfer to spouse outside the US. And we've been calling the NVC but we keep getting no file received yet meaning we dont have a case number yet and we haven't given them our emails address. Please how can we still go back to the CR1 path because thats what we really want now.

How can we stop the I129F and get our file to be at the NVC, and be able to get the case number and the DS3230 through his email address

Oh in the Letter we got concerning the I129F transfer to outside US they already assigned a case number in dat one...we dont understand all these. Anyway help will be valuable at this point

    Thanks in advance

  11. Thanks, that explanation really helps me too im sure many other as well. I'm from Nigeria and my wife filed for me. We just got the I130 approval. Initially, i was wondering abt the ds230 and ds3032 but with everything you typed its all clear to me now.

    Moniq,

I'm filing for CR-1 at the lagos consulate and I just submitted the Ds-230 package last Friday.

What you would need to submit the following for the D2-230 for your husband:

    1. DS-230 part I and II - Make sure he only signs part I.
    2. Police Certificate - He can get this at:

      The Deputy Inspector General

      Criminal Investigation Department

      Nigerian Police Force

      Alagbon Close

      Ikoyi, Lagos

      Nigeria

    3. Original Marriage Certificate
    4. Original Birth Certificate
    5. Copy of biographic Page of Passport
    6. Divorce certificate (if he's been married before) - This didn't apply to me
    7. 2 passport photographs

Once you get all the documents, make a photocopy of the set and send with your original documents. It's advisable to make a set of everything for your spouse and yourself as well.

The medical at Kamorass clinic is not needed at this time. The time to do that is when your file has been closed by NVC, an interview date has been granted and your file has been forwarded to the Lagos consulate.

  12. Hello everyone, quick question: I just want to know the following before i call the NVC for my case number.

    1) Does the beneficiary need to mail d DS230 to the petitioner then the petitioner mail it to the NVC?

    2) Is he (the beneficiary) going to add other documents like police certificate, marriage certificate and others or not

    3) I read a place that says NVC will send him a package, consist of what?

Please, we just got an approval on our i130 and i just need to be clear of those things before making any move.

    Thanks in advance
