    Visa Bulletin- priority date = interview

    My question may sound funny to many of you, but I'm a little confused and wanted to consult. I've petitioned my husband and his priority date is hopefully coming in December. If it is on the December Visa Bulletin, does that mean he is getting an interview appointment in December?

    No. If his PD becomes current in the Dec. Visa Bulletin, he becomes eligible for a visa. After Dec. 1, the US embassy/consulate will then schedule an appointment for an interview. That can take up to 3 months depending on the embassy/consulate.

    My brother's PD became current on Sept. 1. He received a letter in Oct. informing him of an interview on Nov. 17th at the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Thank you so much! This is bad news again :( I was hoping we could celebrate Christmas Holidays happy and reunited :(

    Hi all! First, I'd like to thank all of you who take time to help others, you are the best!

    I'm in the middle of my NVC journey and need som help with a few questions that arise while preparing the I-864 package. Here is what I've included. Please advise if it's okay:

    • I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)

    • Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

    • 2008 Tax Transcript

    • 2007 Tax Transcript

    • 2006 Tax Transcript

    • Letter of Self Employment

    • Authorization for Release of Federal Tax Data - Is this form still required?

    • Copy of Permanent Resident Card

    • I-864A

    • 2008 Federal Tax Return

    • 2008 Tax Transcript

    • 2007 Tax Transcript

    • 2006 Tax Transcript

    • Letter of Employment

    • Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

    • Authorization for Release of Federal Tax Data Same question as above?

    • Copy of Naturalization Certificate

    Do I need to send originals + photocopies of all these?

    What is the best way to send to NVC? FedEx, USPS, UPS?
