Did you send it with tracking (signature required - something like that?) If so, you should be able to track it, I believe. Also, did you pay the fee with a personal check or money order? If check, you can see when it clears the bank. If you sent without signature required and paid with a money order, I believe you will only know if they received it when you receive your NOA (Notice of Action) for the I-485. Hi Guys i have a quick question regarding for AOS i applied for my SSN and now waiting for them to send me my SSN, now my question is can i send my AOS papers without the SSN? or do i have to wait for my SSN and then send it? hope anyone can help me with my problem i really appreciate your help thank you and god bless you all.....

You don't need SSN for AOS. We still haven't gotten Joyce's SSN yet - we messed up and waited until there was only 12 days left until her I-94 expired - so we couldn't get it. And still haven't. We will soon because her Employment Authorization Document has been approved but we just need to find the time to go to the social security office. Anyway, today we received a letter from USCIS saying her permanent residence has been approved and we will get her card in the mail wi...

just a question, on AOS interview do they check for how much money do we have in our bank??

I think not. If your income is above the limits for your household size, they shouldn't check your bank accounts. I personally only listed my income. I didn't list any bank accounts or other assets. If you did list them because you were under the income level for your household size, they may check.
