You must take an independent translator. You cannot translate for her. There are several posts on this. One where they didn't take a translator and had to reschedule the interview. Another they got lucky and someone waiting outside spoke their language.
Thank You!

My k-3 packet was sent to Ciudad Juarez Consulate on October 1st and still waiting for interview date. They told me to wait 6-8 weeks.
8 weeks have passed and I called them today, they told me that all documents were approved and to call them between the end of December and mid January. Is it normal for them to take this long????

Looks like Ciudad Juarez is working slow my packet was sent at the begining of October and still waiting for the interview date. I just call them and they told me to call again at the end of December looks like they are pretty busy with the holiday season.
You should call Ciudad Juarez Consulate at 1800-919-1754 have your credit card ready the cost is $7 per call.
Have your case number it start with CDJ2009...........
Good Luck!

I am really worried about our situation.
My wife ovestayed her tourist visa (I 94) for less than a year when she was 14 years old.
Will this affect us in our upcoming k3 interview in Cd Juarez?

My wife went to the mexican consulate and tried to get a passport in her married name but they said that they no longer make passport with married name. She only has her old passport with her last name. Might this be a problem at the time of the interview?
