My package was received on 11/12/2009, why they haven't cash my check yet?????? I am desperate! is not fair!

Add me please. I send my package on 11/10/2009 and they received it on 11/12/2009 green card expires on 01/15/2010.

OMG! I overnight my package yesterday! finally! And they just received it today...a man name Stanley......now what?? now what??

I did not call this fraud. His question was "What happens if I do not wish to remove conditions" I took that as.... "help get me out of the ^&%# situation I am in" and the way to get out of that is to remove the evidence that would allow her to stay in the country. That evidence is what will allow her to remove conditions on her own regardless of their situation.

B I N G O! I do not intend to divorce her. I have tried to talk with her about this. She makes it quite clear that the only way this would happen would be in an ugly court situation. Not going to happen! She feels I owe her 1/2 of everything I spent my whole life earning! And, she refuses to take any offers of a reasonable nature. She will only settle after one of those nasty divorces she has seen in the movies. And, she threatens things in my sleep, if I try it!

So, as I read it, if we are married we must either do this I-751 together, or she must request a waiver because she is divorced, and/ or prove abuse from the American citizen!

So, after her green card expires, what next?

After GC expires she will lose her legal status and if she gets stop by a police officer and can't prove her legal status they can deport her. Its very clear in uscis website, if you don't file your i751 on the 90 days and you gc expire you imediately become a ilegal alien.

What documents do I need to notarizied on form I751??? Besides affidavits and the actual form.

how did you send your package??? I am trying to organized it so they can make a decision faster. I am attaching a cover letter to each evidence like car insurance, health insurance, birth certificates, etc etc etc and also I am using tabs. any ideas?

Well, instead of sticking the tabs on the side of the pages, you stick them on the bottom.

It might be easier for you to have one thread that is I 751 questions instead of a separate thread for every question. Just an idea.

The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing...this is what it saids in the uscis page but I don't understand what it means. please somebody explain. Thanks.

Can I send my I751 fees with our business check??? should I send two checks, one for the form and the other for biometrics???

Sorry to bother too much but I am sooo tired of dealing with all of I 751 evidence, After finalizing my package which is very very little I need a cover letter.

I have no F idea of how to write one. Please send me an example of a cover letter, I know that I have to include my name, A# my husband's name, but what else, should I write kind of like a summary of our 2 years as married couple. Or should I just numerized all the evidence I am sending like: birth certicates, car insurance, health insurance, bank accounts, etc etc etc. I explain to them that we don't have a house, that we don't have any loan together because I don't have any credit establish, Please advice me on how to do a cover letter. I need to get this done!

So...

I called to find out why VSC applications are taking to much longer than CSC and was surprised to be told that the reason is that the government is in the midst of an experiment whereby they subject VSC applicants to ridiculously long delays that brings them to the point of breaking. If they don't 'go postal' in the intervening weeks or months they are considered fit to be admitted into the country.

The nice lady told me all applications are routinely fed to the office goat (Eddie) upon receipt and they pull one name out of a bowler hat each week and simply approve them. She said the reason there are no interviews is that all the paperwork is long gone at this point, although they have a backup plan if it needs to be recovered but it is very messy. She didn't elaborate.

She even said the goat sometimes gets so hungry they will ask people for more ruffage for him, hence the abbreviation RFE (Ruffage for Eddie).

I am appalled to hear this is how we are being treated and will be talking to my local representative next week. I will be having curried goat at the local Indian restaurant this weekend just to make me feel better.

Final comment. She said the citizenship test is being radically changed and the only requirements will be the ability to get the right intonation in the word "WHATEVER!!!" (the alternative choice is "I'll kick YOU to the kerb sister!!!") whilst holding your hand out and understand someone on a drive-thru speaker repeating an order to them. Both of these pretty much rule me out...

PS: I now know why they don't want paper clips in the paperwork, poor Eddie!!

Its good yes, for your mailing and peace of mind, but they will take it all apart when they get it and refile it themselfs as they dont use that method at USCIS.

Well I know that they are going to take it apart but I just one to make the officer easy to check my package, If I send everything very organizied it would make their work much easier.

I am done making copies and writting my a# in each page for my i751 but, I am organizing everything and I am using a folder with a concealed clip and I am separating everything like insurance, bith certficates, memberships, etc etc etc and in each section I am attaching like a summary page of what is enclosed. Is this good????? please respond.

The NOA1 has nothing to do with removing conditions successfully or being denied. It's a receipt that USCIS has received your package and it looked to be in compliance. It takes about a week to get an NOA1 and it's the first week of November.

So what's up with the December travel?

Well but for what I understand, this receipt tells you that they have received your package and you have one year extension for them to make a decision right? please explain this. If I send my package tomorrow overnight, it gets at VSC next day, would I get my extension notice next Friday???

December travel: We are going to stay for christmas here in new orleans, but my step daughter and my niece are coming for christmas, I have to go pick them up on dec. 12 or 13 they are 8 years old. My husband can't trouble because is a good month for our business. This is why I have to buy plane tickets as soon as I can. I will buy them and with the help of God I will get my extension notice before dec. and if I don't get it by the time of my travel I will see what I can do with the airline. I don't think my case will take too much, the first time I got my green card was sooo fast, like super fast.

Finally guys I got my approval letter today. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Total Time was 125 days or 4 months and 2 days.

My timeline is :

06/29 Sent 751 packet

07/02 NOA Date

08/14 Bio Date

.....

11/04 Approval Letter Mail - Date of decision 10/30/09

My question is: Tomorrow I will be mailing my package and I have very little evidence. did you send alot???? do you have kids together???? and also, how long it took for them to mail you the one year extension notice????????

If you do not receive the letter by the time of your trip, make an infopass appointment and ask for a stamp in your passport due to impending travel.

And please STOP using all capital letters when you type. It's akin to SCREAMING - not to mention hard to read.

Oops! Sorry, I tend to this very often (writting in capital letter). Thanks for the advice, I will buy my plane ticket next week and if I don't have anything for the end of this month I will make an info pass appointment.

I am so nervous because right now I am looking at what I have so I can mail my package this thursday and I have the following:

1. Birth certificate of our UScitizen daughters (my husband is also a UScitizen) one is 2 and half years and the other one is 3 month.

2. Letters from capital one bank that we have a personal account together and a BUSINESS account together for 2008 and 2009

3. letter from whitney about a personal account we used to have in 2007 and 2008 together

4. health insurance certificated with all of us under one policy for the las two years with 3 different insurance comnpanies (we have change companies because of price)

5. Car insurance policy with both of our names in teh same policy for the last 2 years.

6. boarding passes for trips to my country 2 for each of us showing that we have travel together.

7. family pictures (I am using most of the family pictures I used when I was Filing the first form which I don't remember the number because in our interview 2 years ago, the uscis officer didn't even bother to look at the pictures since we had our daughter with us he said that she was all the evidence I needed,

8. Copies of bank statements for 2 years.

9. A printed detail list of verizon for teh last 2 years showing how often we called each other (I don't have my name on the account but I will make a letter statement that my number is the one that appear in the printed list and notarized it.

10. Income taxes filing together for 2007 and 2008.

12. membership of sam's club

13. 3 affidavits

14. Copy of police report because of my stolen green card.

15. and we recently open a life insurance under my husband name which I am the primary beneficiary so I will attached a copy of this.

Hi everyone, I am sending my I751 on thursday BUT I need to know how soon will I get the receipt for the 1 year extension because I have to leave the country on dec. and I need to buy 3 plane tickets next week before the prices go up. I been looking at some posting here in VJ but I just need to know if I will get mine like in 4 to 6 days. Is it possible, and the other thing is that I am in new Orleans, where do I need to sned my form???

Well in the info pass they told me not to worry since they stole it, just attached the police report no need to file any other form. Yes, we did 2007 taxes together, We have ready our 2008 taxes but we have to pay alot of $$$$$$ and I mean ALOT. so that's why we haven't send them yet, we have to make payment arrangements....what do ya'll think, should I send them without filing them with the IRS??? We will mail them to the IRS eventually before the end of the year. Please respond. Thanks.

I'm gathering eveything my husband and I have together so I can file I751 but here's the thing: I just have the business acct. as a joint account, health insurance under his policy, car insurance under his policy and my verizon cellphone is under his name but I will print detail in coming and out coming calls so they can see how often we called each under (which is every day) I don't work. This is everything we have that appears both of our names. Now, we do have two girls together, one is 2 years old and the 2nd is 3 month old, he is a born US citizen. My question is: HAS ANYONE BEFORE BEING ASK TO SENT MORE EVIDENCE BESIDES HAVING KIDS TOGETHER????

I am so scared that they would look at my package and see: bank account together, car insurance, health insurance, verizon bill, affidavits, boarding passes, income tax return for 2007 (we haven't file 2008) and TWO BIRTH CERTIFICATES OF OUR CHILDREN and send me a letter that they need more evidence. Ok. my case is different

My green card was stolen, I did an info pass app. and they told that since my gc will expire on jan 10, 2010 is not necessary to file form (I don't remember the form no. is the one you have to file when you lost, damage your gc). They told to file form I751 and instead of attaching the copy of my gc to attach the police report.

I need to know the best course of action if anyone can suggest. My wife recently lost a Conditional Green Card (lost a lot of things when a purse of lost) and now we are close to filling Removal of Condition petition. We are approaching "within 90 days of second anniversary" time frame starting November 20th. The form I-751 mentions that a copy of Green Card is required to be part of the package to service as Initial Evidence. Unfortunately, we don't think we have copy of green card, but we do have everything else for this package to prove our good-faith marriage and that we are living together.

Well, as a last question, can they asked me for more evidence if we have 2 daughters together??? in 2 years of marriage we have 2! I will think this is enough evidence that the marriage is in good faith.
