Hello my fellow June filers, I just want to announce that I just received a text message from USCIS stating that my stepson's I-130 was approved on 11-1-10. I feel relieved that finally I got approved because his application took 22 days longer than his mother. I wish that everybody get their approval soon.

question what is the best way to obtain NVC case # do I have to wait for hard copy from them or there is other way thanks

WAIT A WEEK AFTER APPROVAL DATE AND CALL NVC AT 603-334-0700. SPEAK WITH AN OPERATOR AND SHE WILL GIVE YOU THE NVC NUMBER. TAKE ADVANTAGE AN GIVE HER YOUR AND YOUR SPOUSE E MAIL ADDRESS.

Well, I called USCIS and finally they assigned a case number. My receipt date is June 11,2010. Now I am ready to wait for 3 months.......I hope.

I am glad to see some members that were part of my journey while I was doing the paper work for my wife. She is in the US now and we are very happy. Now I have to go thru this journey again. Today I submited an I-130 form to bring my son. I should of done it at the same time that I requested for my wife. I think this time is going to be much better journey because I have my wife with me. I guess I am a June filer now. See you guys later...............

I need help. I filed last year an I-130 last year to bring my wife. She is already here but I did it with an attorney. Now I want to bring my step-son but I dont want to go to am attorney. Has anybody filed an I-130 for an stepsonor stepdaugther? If so, I news help fillingit out.

Well I am very happy to annouce that we were approved yesterday. Our interview was at 9:00 am but we got there an hour early. They called us to window 12 and they asked us like 5 questions. It only took like 5 minutes then they called us to the a room and we were interviewed by a gentlemen that only question that he asked was the year that we met and then he proceed to tell us to have a nice flight back to the US. IU was very impressed on how fast it went. We will received the visa via DHL tomorrow morning. Now I am searching for a ticket so she could flight back with me on may 2nd. It has beed a long journey but everything is worth it. We are very happy that we could proceed with our lifes together again. Wish you guys the best on the upcoming interviews.

I am flying over to Peru Thursday morning to be with my wife and start getting the rest of the document required for the interview. I will be there only for 4 days, but I will be back for the Interview. Finally everything is coming together. I am so HAPPY.

On march 10 I spoke to an operator in he told me! later the AVR was updated with the info...

That's strange....I got SIF on March 9 and got my case complete in AVR on March 10.

I called NVC late last night a the lady told me that I should have an interview by the end of next week. I will call tuesday and check again.

I just called NVC few minutes ago and they do not have any news. The operator told me that they received the package on 3-2-10 and they have from 2 to 6 weeks to make a decision. I will call back tonight again.

I am still waiting for them to review my revised DS-230. as you know I got an RFE on 2-19-10. I overnighted the revised DS-230 on 2-22-10. NVC acknowledge that they received the package on 3-2-10. Since then they have not review my revised form yet. Hopefully I will get good news early next week.

Wow--that's a whole lot of us.

He will need one PCC from Dubai since that is where his passport was issued and he lived there as well. He will need one from his current residence local police station. Also check with your RPO--maybe they will need to clear it as well. They are the ones that stamp your passport with the clearance.

I checked the AVR and it says that they received my RFE yesterday. Looks like there will be no problem if we used the original cover sheet with the barcode.

I am still waiting for any news. Last thing I know is that the AVR says that they received my package on the 18th. Also they e-mailed my wife on saturday stating that they have all documentation for my case and as soon as my file has been reviewed, notification will be sent. I am going to log in tonight and see what happens.

have you checked the AVR system confirming that they received your package? I overnighted my package last saturday and they received it on tuesday at 11:46am. i checked th AVR system today and it says that they received the package yesterday february 18. they took two days to acknowledge that they received the package?

I submited my I-864 with the 2009 tax return. I figured that by the time I get the interview, I should of filed for the 2009 tax return already.
