Hello everybody, yesterday I received my US citizen certificate in Chicago. Less than 4 years ago, I entered this country on a K-1 visa. It took me more than 8 months to get the conditional green card and then about one year to remove the condition. And then, within 4 months after submitted my N-400, I became a US citizen!

I would like to thank everybody in this Forum for your help. I was benefited not only for the information you shared, but also for the comfort you provided. For example, I could not check my Case Status online after submitted the N-400 and was worried about something wrong. Then I found here that I was not alone that I might never be able to check it online. It tuned out absolutely true!

I sent the N-400 to NSC on May 27 and did fingerprint on Jun 20. I have never been able to check my case status online. I phoned USCIS today and was told I could never be able to check it online. I am a bit confused here. Dose it mean that before FBI has cleared my fingerprints, I will not be able to check my case online or I will never be able to check it? Please, anybody knows anything about it? I appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
