Congratulations! Hope you have a smooth journey, no RFEs as well!

Congrats on your Mom's arrival! I wouldn't chance it. As others have said, you have to consider a lot of other factors when coming through POE. I would rather play it safe...allow more time for her connecting flight!
All the best!

At our interview in Kingston, they only looked at my three years of tax transcripts. I also had a letter of employment and recent pay stubs ready if they needed those as well.
Best wishes!

Thanks DW!
I was thinking I may send the Disability Payment history anyway...
Crossing all my T's and doting all my i's!!!
And praying every day!

Congratulations! Happy for your family! Soon reunited!

I was going to say you will be fine with showing you are currently employed and pay stubs to reflect you can sponsor your hubby. All the best JAP!

Yes, once you received the RFE letter in the mail, get the requested information/documentation back to them asap! We had a RFE during our K-1 and we got it back and our petition was approved shortly after. Best wishes!

If you go to consulate reviews in the JA portal, sometimes people put what questions were asked at the interview. There are some recent ones on there now. Hope this helps
I agree 100% the consulate reviews for JA, gives you the real deal on the types of questions they will ask.

When we went for our interview in Jamaica for a K-1 visa in January, 2010, we used the 1-134 and I had bank statements, letter from Employer, and W-2s and tax transcripts from the past 3 years of tax returns. They didn't ask to see all of it but it's better to have more than enough evidence than not enough!

so my fiance called uscis today and spoke to a lady who told him we should be hearing from them anytime now, as they are now processing nov 2 petitions. (yea right)
I hope that is the case. All the best to you and yours!

Afternoon All! Just passing through to say hi y'all!
Morning everyone!
I had a quick question for any CR1/IR1 filers....how did you do you tax amendments? Did you just send in the 1040x with a copy of your marriage certificate?
I'm trying to figure this out and I'm really confused!! Lol
- Marie
I don't know the answer Marie876, but I know some of the CR1/IR1 yardies will come through and answer this for you!

Hello Everyone,
I'm a U.S. Citizen by birth (both parents are Haitian) and married my husband who is from Jamaica. He came here through the K-1 Fiance Visa about 10 years ago and finally got his citizenship last week Friday (March 18, 2011). Presently I'm in the process of filing for his mother and little brother. I actually just sent the I-130 petition for both this morning. Hoping everything goes smoothly. Happy to be here on this board.
Welcome to VJ! Wishing you guys a smooth journey!
