Hi everybody, just wanted to share that my husband AOS interview has been approved...

We had the interview today at 11 a.m we arrived at 10:30 they called us at 10:45 a.m. the IO was a very nice person, since my husband is still learning english he made the interview in spanish.I was a little nervous because I took my toddler to the interview and thakfully the IO didnt mind at all. He started the inerview with me (the petitioner) my name, address, DOB and date of marriage then asked me for our original Marriage certificate. Then he went through our daughters birth certificates, and asked me for the original BC of my daughters who was born aboard. Then he continued with my husband, he asked him, his complete name, place of birth, DOB and the name of his parents, date of last entry and POE to the US, he was only like just doublechecking all the information on the applications, at the end he asked my husband all the NO questions and that was all, he kept his visa and I-94 and told us that the welcome letter will arrive between 2 and 3 weeks ans then his green card (for 10 years )will arrive aswell, and in 3 years he will be able to apply for the US citizenship.

The interview lasted between 20-30 minutes, very smooth thank God. We got out and I huged and kissed him in the elevator, very very happy and thanfull we returned back home.

Hi all, on 05/07/10 my husbands I765 was touched and also we received an email from USCIS regarding my his EAD

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On May 7, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hi all, very glad may people had received their interview NOAS. We are also waiting for my husbands interview on 05/25 and yesterday his I130 & I485 were touched.

Correction: I meant to "March Filers" as I am March filer.

In addiotion: I got "Touched" on I-485 and I-130 couple hours after the interveiw.

I-485 - Card Production ordered, this was just from "Acceptance"

I-130 - Still in "Initial Review"

I almost over-looked updates on my case since last update was on 03/23 and new update is 04/23.

There was touched on I-130 and I-485.

However no change at all. I-130 is still at "Initial Review" and I-485 is at "Acceptance"

No email received.

Well, well, well, what can I say?

Hope its for the EAD, lets cross fingers

Hi all! may I join? My husband is the one processing his AOS from a B2 visa. Im glad to find this topic so we can be able to see where's everybody at and also share our experiences. He already got his biometrics done and we are waiting for the next step.

My parents INTERVIEW is DONE. They will receive the passports within a week as told by the Embassy. This would not have been possible without VJers.

they are satisfied about the proof of parentship..only domicile records of us citizen father.. husband was naturally born her in US..however cant suffy domicile since stop schooling after a certain year they were looking for.. no job that time since minor.. and basically..disaster hurricane katrina which brought up trouble piling all proof of records-- they cant accept bank statements, neither medical as they said its only 1 day.. i know it sounds crazy.. but thats how they revoke my daughters right having her us citizenship so my senator suggested even the general ad. in USEM to take IR2. sophias case was completed already dec 24. =)

Hi, we are handling similar cases, daughter of a USC (she`s 17 months) also didn't qualify for a CRBA because of the same cause. we were also adviced to start IR2 visa process for her. We are having her interview Jan 12 2010 Starting to get a little anxious...

Hi VJr's, next Jan 12 2010 my infant daughter (17 months) is having her interview at the Juarez Consulate for an IR2 visa. I am a her biological parent, USC and I am the petitioner. On her interview letter they are only asking for her passport, the photos and Medical examination results.

Has anyone here have been thru a similar case?

It will be very helpful if someone shares some experience about a similar case. Questions, evidence etc etc

Is your husband a United States Citizen? Is so, they are asking for the form I-864W for you daughter because, if she is the daughter of a USC, according to the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 allows certain foreign-born, biological and adopted children of American citizens to acquire American citizenship automatically once they become a LPR and enters the United States therefor your daughter is exempt from the Form I-864 requirements, and the I-864W has to be sent instead of the I-864 (applies only for your daughter)

Case completed as per AVR on 12/18, haven't got any email from NVC yet about case completed or interview date? but hopefully next week.

Congratulations for that case completion smithjohnatpa , as you can see on my timeline I waited almost 2 weeks for my daughters interview email notice, but I have learned that it also depends on the embassy/consulate, so try to be patience, u will have yours very soon.
