have their CR1 VISA as of March 18th, 2010!!!!!!

The house closed and is now mine as of last Friday (March 12th, 2010). I am just now putting in the last of the work to get it ready for all of us and will be moving over there in about a week. Life is an amazing adventure. Good luck and God bless to all of you!

We really laid it all on the line and it paid off, but it was pretty nerve racking to have already sold house and bought tickets before VISA was approved (I don't recommend it), but it was all we could do. Nora (our dog) is the next challenge, but it appears we will do fine with her as well. And one more thing...I just bought a home here in Portland and remodeled it in 20 days.

She said "yes". And that was it! She then went and waited about 20 minutes to pay the 60hrn fee for delivery of her passport (about 10 working days). WOW...this has been a crazy experience! We took a few steps of faith on the way and already sold her house there an bought airline tickets for me to arrive on March 30th, 2010 and come back to Portland, OR on April 12.

Tory got her CR1 VISA approved at 11:30am Kiev time on March 18th, 2010! They took all her documents and then she waited 2 hours in the Consular Section. After fingerprinting (which was free), she was interviewed for about 2 minutes...during the interview she was asked nothing other than "Do you swear the information you have provided is true and correct to the best of your knowledge?"

It appears that all the information has been erased when the new format went online. Well, Tory is at the consulate waiting in line right now. It is 7:30am in Kiev, Ukraine and her appointment is at 8am. She is 3rd in line right now. Her medical exam went fine (although long) yesterday and now we just await the results of interview. I will post when we know the outcome later today
