  1. We just had our interview on Dec 2nd. We had our letters of intent, Chat logs, and even my fiances wedding dress receipt and they never asked for any of those items. Focus on remembering things they actually care about like your appointment letter and affidavit of support papers.

  2. Hi everyone. Amy passed her interview on Dec 1. We're waiting for delivery. Has anyone who interviewed in Dec received it yet or have any information? I saw the one lucky poster who was allowed to pick it up. No such luck for us - the CO said it wasn't allowed. So as has been stated here before, it's the luck of the draw on who you get for a CO. Air21 says they haven't received it from the embassy and it is Saturday after passing on Tuesday. Is anyone else having better success?

Congrats to all approved - and best of luck to all still waiting to interview!

Our interview was on the second, and we are still waiting for delivery also. I hope it comes so as I would really like to have her come home with me on the 15th.

  3. Dec 2 here. I just made the travel arrangments So I can go with her :)

Oh, that's so sweet!. I remember when I went there in the embassy for my interview and my husband really went back to the Philippines for my interview eventhough a month before that, he also went to cebu and took some time off from work just to be with me.They said, it's always like a plus if the fiance is there. It was really a huge help for me because I was more confident about everything having my husband, then fiance there with me during that BIG DAY.I wish you the best guys. I Hope your fiancee will be here in the US soon...

Thank you for the good wishes. We are going to her home in CDO after the interview. I will be there for about 20 days and am hoping she can come home with me.

  4. NVC sent the package to Manila two weeks ago and my fiance still has not received her packet. When will it be sent?

Did you receive a letter from the NVC yet with your fiance's Case number (it starts with MNL)?

If so, you could try calling the embassy to see if they will give you a date. That is what I did and they set us up with a date for Dec 2nd.

  5. Just wondering if the tracking number for the visa shows up at air21's website before the visa is delivered, or does it generally only show up the day of/once it's delivered? I'm getting really tired of see "number not found".

Air 21 tracking number will be in well before you receive visa..The fiance' or wife visits the Air21 counter before leaving USEM building, and once they have your passport/case/number they will issue a tracking number. Also in our case, my wife intercepted the visa at the Air21 terminal in CDO, so she didn't have to wait for the delivery boy to find her. If your fiance' knows the where abouts of her local Air21 other than metro Manila..she can visit the Air21 terminal for her particular area and have them give her a close time when her visa will arrive, she may be able to pick up before it goes out for delivery..and that can also save a day in some cases...Best of luck..

My Fiancee is in CDO. Just curious how long did the Visa take to be shipped from Manila to CDO?

  6. So I tried to call the Embassy last night to get my Fiancee's K-1 Visa appointment. I called the 1-888 number and the automated call menu came up. The options were to press one for Filipino, two for ACS, and 3 to continue in English. I pressed 3 and received a message in filipino. I think it was asking me to the pin number you are suppose to get, but I don't know how you get the pin number.

I know from the USEM website to get a pin for $18 and to have my fiancee's case number.

So, my question is. How do you get the pin and reach sombody to set the appointment date?

  7. Thanks Kjenkins86. We're supposed to have the NOv. 9 interview but didnt do my medical yet., so we move it to the 19th... Everything is just really unexpected, Originally, we were expecting for january approval, then probably March 2010 interview., and now,. it all happens in 2 months, from Noa1 to Interview.

I am really trying to be positive as much as i can, but my situation is very complicated. Almost everyone said that we'll not gonna make it.

For everyone., i still wish you all Goodluck.... hoping for the NOA2 for the rest of the september filers..

Wow that is fast! I suppose I should check with the Embassay Since Our Time lines have been Simular to this point.

  8. Hello All,

I was just wondering how long it takes to get your NBI clearance and CENOMAR in the Philippines. My Fiancee's K-1 application is going through much faster than anticipated and I want to make sure we Have everthing ready for her interview.

Also, my Fiancee's would perfer to get her vaccinations after she arrives in the U.S. The USEM website says they are not required to receive her Visa, but I wanted to make sure this would not cause any unforseen problems.

    Thank you
