It seems to be you have applied for K1 visa.... Best option is get married and apply I130 immigration based on family case.
-
My beneficiary case is in NVC.... PD is current (I don't have the exact date at this time, info is at home, it is sept 2004)
I did called NVC this monday, they have received the email with kid Birth Certificate attached as pdf file.
I was told to wait... they will add the kid soon as derivative beneficiary. I was told to wait for it before paying any fees.
-
I am a petitioner, it is almost 12 weeks since I have sent info to add a kid to a petition that is allready in NVC...
No update...

I have sent the email with petitioner and beneficiary information... kid info and scanned birth certificate...about 8 business days ago.
Any one know how much time NVC takes to add the new kid on the file?

Thanks Ian, he is only 13 months old, a late arrival in his family.
I will send the email shortly.
-
NVC has made the petition current, got an initial email for the case
I can see the 120 fees invoice and other fees 325 per person.
I believe that now it is time to send the document for the new kids as mentioned above by "jamaicankim"
The email address that I am using is - NVCINQUIRY@state.gov
-
The priority date is still 10 months out....
Q - I should be doing it with USCIS? Correct???
-
Good luck, you should be feeling lucky...
-
You had enough...
As long as you have the documents to prove togetherness for last 24 months (from the day you entered US on CR1 and day you are filling the removing conditions).
Good luck.
-
Filled for brother, and USCIS has approved the petition long time ago.
Now, they have a new baby in the house.
- I just got his Birth Certificate (his name and his parents name)
Who should I need to inform USCIS or NVC?
What should I sent, I have the following in my hand...
- Cover letter
- USCIS approval letter
- Baby's Birth Certificate
-
Congratulations
-
I have applied for my brother and petition is approved long time ago, now, they have added one more nephew to their family.
What should I do (what steps should I take) to have him added to the case?
-
This is tourist visa, you have to go on line to schedule the interview.

Good Luck

1. Question # 14 (Permanent address in India) verifiable: Can I provide my address in India? Will my Indian passport which has my address listed be a valid document for them to verify?
You can provide a valid indian address
2. Question # 23(a) Whether the applicant or his/her parents or grandparents or great grandparents held an Indian passport at any
time, if so details thereof: (enclose photocopy of relevant documents): I hold an Indian passport from birth until present; my wife held Indian passport from her birth (1984) till 2011 (US citizen by naturalization). Do I need to include details of both of us?If applying for kids, it is better to have father's or mother's information... does not hurt to provide both parents
3. Question # 24(a) Whether the applicant or his/her parents or grandparents or great grandparents was born and was permanently resident in India as defined in the Government of India Act, 1935 * at any time {please see instruction (1) }. If so, following details may be indicated: : Both me and my wife were born in India. My wife was a resident of India from birth until 1999; I was a resident from birth until 2007. Do I need to include details of both of us?YES
4. Question # 25, Proof of residence etc.: Will my Indian passport which has my address listed be a valid document for them to verify? what documents could I provide as a proof of residence for my wife?
After marriage, your wife has your address.... your address will be her address in India...
I don't know why you are so into "having your passport address to verify the address in India" It is good if both are same... it can be different too.
How embassy want to verify the address..... that does not matter... they need a verifiable address in India

Great...Did you get your bags back once you are out of the building?

Thanks Aanu for the confidence... I am glad that you are through with this.... I am also a Jat Sikh originally from Amritsar...
Rajvinder, you will do fine... just hang in there.... Like I said and Annu agreed... keep track of everything (all interaction between you and your Hubby).
-
That is not the case at all... Embassy People understands it (you believe it or but they do). The main concern they have, this is not a marriage to get immigration benefits
Rest is all up to you to prove that your marriage is a valid one and you have on-going relationship before marriage (talk, chat, emails, .... etc together)
I believe that you are in India and hubby is going to apply for you.
Now, you are married, please keep all the on-going relationships proofs... like cards exchanges, emails, phone records (you may have to change your phone company who can provide you a paper bill), chats records, pictures together before marriage, during marriage, after marriage... (Marriage can not be simple, there must be proof that it has happened and number of people has attended it).
Good luck with married life and immigration journey.

To get K1 visa is very hard... the approval gets expired before getting the visa... I will recommend to get married ... and apply through I130..... the final decision is with both of you.
Good luck
