Could be. Only the crystal ball can tell. Would have been better if you had the mistake in your birth certificate corrected while in the Philippines but now it's too late. Hope your file will be viewed by an Immigration Officer who recognizes that it's a simple misspelling and not a issue to get hung up on. My guess is that you will be fine.

Just worried... i hope affidavit of the same person is fine....All his original papers are Naciano.. but in my birth cert and my other siblings is NANCIANO..

My Dad's Name on his birth certificate , baptismal, marriage contract names is Naciano..But in my birth certificate is NANCIANO. I filed petition for my Dad and i put his real name Naciano instead of NANCIANO. I submitted the application along with his affidavit stating that Naciano and Nanciano is the same person..IS there any conflict that would cause delay on his applications??

As i have mentioned in my last post I already got the approval of my I-751 after 4 months.

Now we are still working on the RFE's for the I-130 we filed for my 2 kids in the Philippines.

What USCIS need from us are Legible Final Certified Copy of documents .I don't know where to get this?my questions are:

1. What does it mean final certified copy? Can i not just send a scanned copy of the original document?

2.Where can i have the documents certified?Can i just send the original document to the USCIS?

I would appreciate any ideas.

A certified copy of a document is an official copy provided by the recordholder with the appropriate marks. For example, a certified copy of your birth certificate would come from the government agency in charge of keeping birth records. It is not something you can do. A scanned copy of the original that you make is not a certified copy.

I would never send an original to USCIS unless it is asked for. Send certified copies because documents can end up being lost. You do not want USCIS, the NVC, or the US embassy/consulate losing your originals.

Hi everyone,

I was looking at the NOA1's for my mom and there is no priority date listed on it - is this correct?

I filed I-130's for my mom as a US citizen.

It really seems like CSC is slowing down again... not many approvals recently.

Also, would someone add me to the I-130 waiting list please?

maybe you can call USCIS to be sure? and take down the ID number of the person you talk to, so you have that info with you if something happens.

Thank you but the RFE notice says send documents to the 2nd address i have mentioned here. so should ijust go with what the RFE notice says?since it is really hard t o contact USCIS customer service?

Yes you could adopt them if it is allowed under the law of the country they live in... Can you bring your adoptive childeren to the USA only if you adopted them because the are orphens. If they have a parent alive then any application for immigration would be denied because USCIS would look on the adoption as a way to get around the immigration laws of the USA.
