  2. Wow...I am still amazed. I spoke with so many people about my initial case being closed and not even one person said I could re-open it. I can't believe $1010 went down the drain. I am going to see another lawyer to go with to the interview.

    Hi, konjo

Motions to reopen a case cost money - just under $600 now, but it still is cheaper than giving another $1010 to the government. Usually, lawyers charge a big fee to handle motions to reopen, perhaps that was the reason why your attorney did not offer it to you. It just seems to me that way too many lawyers charge clients for doing nothing!

    Hello Kim,

  4. hey thanks for the reply... i know the details but i have a few questions:

    1. If i apply for my aos in one state and then shift to another state to live in the US... will that have any impact on my application.

    2. Does USCIS need only the court marriage document or do i have to provide the religious islamic document too.. am a muslim

    3. Regarding the affidavit of support.. I need it since my US citizen fiancee doesnt do a job and depends on benefits from the govt and stuff. A relative of mine is a rich man but he is not working these days. Will it be ok if he signs the document?

    4. In my case it took 2 years to obtain my k1 visa, normally it takes months... Will this delay be compensated in my green card process?

    5. Do i have to take a medical exam when i took one before coming to US... it was in july, 2009.

Kindly please answer these questions of mine.... I will be thankful...
