I just got married to a Moroccan citizen this past summer. I have not filed the I-130 yet because I am scared of something.

About 8 years ago my husband was arrested and jailed for about 20 days. The charges equate to guilty by association. The police were looking for a friend of his and when he stated to them that he did not know where he was. They jailed him instead.

His family was able to hire a lawyer and have the charges removed from his record. My question is when he eventually goes for his interview he will take the clean record but does the US Consulate have access to old Moroccan police records? I mean the Moroccan authorities can't do a background check on a USC unless we consent so is it the same in Morocco?

Hi everyone,nextmonth I have my k1 interview in casablanca consulate,I'm a bit excited and nervous..I have all my papers done now,and I have the evidences like:pictures,4 postal letters,e-mails,screen shot from skpe showing us talking to each other on cam,and she will soon send me the form 134,she earn about 2000 us dollars a months..So please could you tell me if those eveidences are enough?hope you could reply me and thank you so much..

i think ur proofs r enough, just relax in interveiw & inshallah u'll get ur visa, one thing , just keep in mind that the CO 'll try to make u nervous so relax & allah be with u

We recieved a email last night stating our petition was finally approved ...OMg I am still in disbelief I have read it so many times and had my room mate read to make sure I read it correctly !!!!!

Ok whats next !!!! I know I know "read the threads" but for the life of me i dont know where to begin I have read all the threads so many times I probably could be versed in them but tonight I am upside down beside mysefl.... I just got a email at the beginning of the month stating I will have to wait up to 180 days...So we just decided to throw in the towel and wait our time out and not even worry any more... WOW ALLAH does provide to those who have patienct. ALLAH is the greatest ...THANK YOU ALLAH.......alhumdilallah......

So I just got back from the interview in Islamabad with my hubby- the interviewer was really nice but unfortunately, in the end she said all our docs are complete but the case needs further processing. She estimated 1-3 months and asked if I need the passport back- I left it there in the hopes that it might move things along faster. My poor hubby was in tears afterwards and I feel so horrible because he was really looking forward to leaving asap. We have a lot of stuff going on at his placce and we live with his entire family so things have been rough and we were really counting on this.

USCIS does not care about the party.. the consulte may be another matter... as long as you are both eligible to file for K1, USCIS will likely approve the case and leave the rest up to the consulate.

even if we've other proof : receipt of western union+ copy of our conversations( on msn)+ emails+ copy of conversations on phone+airline tickets

is all that 'll not be enough for the consulate???????

Why on earth would they not approve you simply for not having pictures of a 'party'? Just make sure all your other evidence is robust and don't sweat it.

now, once the NVC got ur file after few weeks, they 'll send it to consulate in morocco (casablanca)then, after it, the consulate 'll send the package to ur fiance & she /he must go do medical tests ( on the package, she/he 'll get all documents required that she need for the interview+ list of doctors) then have all documents ready ( originals+ traduction+ proof) &----> the interview voila, that's all

dont forget to send her affidavit+ taxes

hello. i submitted my I29F and im so worried of getting an RFE. do you think this is enough info to pass. based on your experieces.

i submited 2 photos of us together. barding passes, hotel reciepts for 3 rooms from orbiz,

is that enough proof of showing we met in person.. i was going to submit my passport but i have lost it.. will that be a problem.. do u think i will get an RFE?

My fiance has 9 week until his interview, and is supposed to get documents for the interview, just a few being, court record, police record, and singlehood certificate, and we'll have to get them all translated I presume. Oh, and get the medical exam also. We thinking to wait to get them done about 4-5 weeks prior to the interview. My fiance is worried that the papers requested and the exam will expire if we get them too early. I would like to know other peoples past experience on getting papers done and time frames that should be allowed. Can you tell me what would be a good time to begin getting these? Thanks!
