  1. Well my husband finally got his interview in ciudad Juarez!

We are very excited but nervous about the actual interview and also the fact that its in ciudad juarez!

I was hoping maybe someone who has been to juarez for an interview can help me out with any suggestions about getting around, places to stay, etc?

Also the medical exam do they give you your exam results the same day or do they send it to the consulate themselves?

    OR

if anyone can suggest me anything for that day?

    I would greatly appreciate it!!!

  2. well my 4 questions are:

How long after our case is completed does it take to recieve instructions and/or the interview date?

What documents are necessary to take to the interview if they already have the birth certificate, marriage, etc..?

How will i know when NVC sends our documents to the embassy? and if they recieved them?

    Thanks in advance!!!!

  3. Just yesterday i recieved a checklist of missing documents for my I864.

They say im missing my joint sponsors proof of US Citizenship but i sent in her birth certificate. (she was born in the US)

Also i sent in her W2 form but they say im missing:

Federal income tax returns, literal printouts from IRS (RTFTP) or a Letter 1722 issued by the IRS are missing/incomplete for the year(s):

can someone please tell me what they mean? Or what i should send in with her W2 form?

    Thank You in advance

  5. Well, if he was not required to file returns, that might be ok.

You say you have no income tax returns, were you required to file but did not, or did you just have very low income?

If he has the assets to cover 5 times the 125% for the immigrant and any other dependants plus himself, they might well accept that - according to their guidelines.

I had very low income and then was unemployed until i finally found a new job. Thats why i didnt file, will that be a problem?

  6. If i just started working in august but dont meet the income requirement for the I864 and have no income tax returns, can my father although unemployed and also with no income returns for the recent 3 years help me out with his assets only?

Because with the money he has saved in the bank I meet the requirements but i was concerned he would not be able to help me because he was injured and unemployed for the past 2-3 years.

Can someone please help me out with this?

  7. I sent my I-130 for Cr-1 today but i believe i sent it to the wrong address!

In the I-130 instructions it says to send to the address below if sent by express which i did

    For couriers/express deliveries:

    USCIS

    Attn: FBAS

    131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

    Chicago, IL 60603-5517

or was i supposed to send it to the address based on where i live.

I am very worried please help!!!

  8. If you send with "delivery confirmation" if there's no one there to sign it's returned to the PO and resent the next day. If it's a a friday they won't get it until monday.

Using Express mail waiving the signature that doesn't happen and you can track it also.

Cost a bit more but it's overnight. I just paid $17.50. Priority takes longer.

Thanks for the advice i think i will do it that way because i have sent items thorugh express before and havent had any problems i will be more comfortable through express. :star:

    Thanks again!!!

  9. I recommend USPS Priority Mail with "Delivery Confirmation".

    Thank You

If i send it through the USPS Priority Mail with "Delivery Confirmation do you know what address i send it to

    For couriers/express deliveries:

    USCIS

    Attn: FBAS

    131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

    Chicago, IL 60603-5517

    OR

the address based on where i live (texas)

If you are the petitioner and you reside in Texas and you are filing only Form I-130, mail the petition to the USCIS Lockbox Facility. The address is as follows:

    USCIS

    P.O. Box 804616

    Chicago, IL 60680-4107

  10. I was just wondering is the best way to send the petition through courier/express?

If it is, is this is the address : USCIS

    Attn: FBAS

    131 South Dearborn - 3rd floor

    Chicago,IL 60603-5517

And if i live in Texas does anyone have an idea of which service center it will go to, Vermont or California?

    Thanks.
