  1. Congrats!!

I am trying not to have doubts but I am worried that we haven't received any e-mails or online case updates since the interview. I know it's only been 2 days but most people received an e-mail the day of or day after their interview. You guys don't think anything is wrong, right?

I don't think you should worry about the email..They are processing without notify you as this is a three days weekend. It's very likely u will receive email on coming Tuesday..

    Congrats, Rebecca!! Have fun!!

  2. Also, GOOD LUCK to KateMunter, hudons, & GC Runner with your interviews tomorrow!! I will be thinking & praying for you all! (L)

Thanks, Rebecca..and We passed the interview and received the APPROVAL letter at the site..We are so happy and it will be a turning point in my life..Good luck for all the ppl waiting for interview..My advise here is to be over-prepared rather than not-prepared..you never know what IO will ask for and be patient and cautious..

  3. :crying: Wheres my EAD approval?! My NOA1 date is Oct 29th!!!!!!

My AP is past est approval time, I'm still in timeframe for EAD, just really worried something is wrong!

I guess on the bright side MAYBE..... If Xmas holidays doesn't slow things down too much MIGHT have GC approval early Jan!

Dont worry Minnew, you will hear something from them latest next week.

  5. Hi all! Got my 2nd RFE today...still about joint sponsor. Last time they asked about tax info and ctizenship proof. I sent W2 for 2008 and copy of citizenship certificate. Unfortunately, what they wanted was the 1040 for tax info...DAMMMIT!!!

It'll be in the mail Monday, but I'm sad because I do think now that it stops EAD and AP as well: it's written on the notice....that means I might not be able to visit my family for the holidays...:(

Good luck with all your processes!

    Hi Ruby,

I am sorry to hear that.. I got the second RFE too, but it's still on the way..May I ask whether the second RFE for you is on your AOS or EAD? Coz first RFE I got was on AOS which was asking 1040 tax form, but my second RFE is on EAD..

  6. Today in the morning, I received the email from USCIS system regarding my EAD application. It's the Request for additional evidence. I just replied the RFE on AOS last week. Anybody has similar situation here? any idea what that can be? Does that mean somebody is looking at my case and they only need this particular evidence to approve my case?

Thanks and I'm more patient than before when the first RFE came..

  7. Got update from USCIS this afternoon and the message is shown below:

    To 1LUVv:

According to my understanding, NBC is set up to do the pre-interview case processing for the local office. If your case was transferred to NBC, it simply means that you need to show up for interview in order to get your AOS approved versus there's no interview for the cases transferred to CSC..

    Hope that helps..

  8. thanks guys, congrats to all those who are making progress of some sense :jest:

yup, received my AP papers dated 11/9as well.

Question - why are there 2 sheets of paper saying the same thing?? both say they are valid till 11/8/2010 - does it mean it is valid for 2 re-entry, & the immigration officer takes away one each time?? I am as perplexed as ever. Any shed of light will be helpful!!

I now have my AP papers in hand. They are dated 11/10.

I am no longer being held prisoner by the US Government :rofl:

My understanding of the two pieces of paper is that, the first time you use it, they take one, and stamp the other and/or your passport. On subsequent uses, they just look at your copy and you continue to keep it. It (mine at least) says it is valid for any number of entries up to the expiration on date, which on mine is one year.

Wish me luck the EAD shows up in the next couple of days!

Congrats on AP..You may receive your EAD at the 10th day of first notification of card production ordered...

  9. Thanks, I try my best to be looked great... :dancing::D

Yes, I felt like I was processing my own application while I was preparing all these documents. Therefore, I thought at least I should expedite my case...

Keep my fingers cross. I hope there won't be any more "surprise" which caught me unguarded.

Ok, I have sent out the RFE document today and USPS guaranteed the earliest delivery on Wednesday..We will see how fast USCIS would react on this..

    Nice avatar :D

Good luck with the RFE! At least you got it back to them quickly

  10. To Raj456, monicaolivo, Greg

Thanks for quick responses..Those are very informative and finally I am cooling down after 3 hrs of anxiousness. I will try all of those ways and keep you all posted..

I do appreciate the formation of this forum..It really like the light tower in this dark journey...Thanks for being there for everyone..

Congrats Greg on getting your EAD AP approval on the day of biometric..

  11. Hello guys,

I just sadly received RFE notice for 2008 Tax return 1040 Form(date 11/06)..Since we filed tax through Taxcut online services, my wife forgot to keep a copy of 1040 form and only sent out the tax return summary. Now we are trying to access online account but it's unaccessible at this point..Does anybody know that whether still the copy of 1040 form is kept in that system? If not, how long does it take if we request IRS a copy of our tax return?

Many thanks in advance...Very stressful right now..I have a job offer pending due to my working permit for over 3 months now..I tried so hard to get this chance and I don't want to lose it... :crying:

  12.:cry::clock: :clock: :clock: no words, just emoticons. seven days since bio - no touch since the bio day...

I also had my bio done last week. It`s been five days since then without any updates. I think everyone who had their bio done got their case updated the day after except mines....It`s driving me insane  I dont know what`s going on with my case. They haven`t updated my case since the 26th of Oct...

It seems like USCIS is slowing down a bit  I hope they pick things up again...

So at the bio appt, once it's done they are supposed to pass along that we did actually go in for it to the correct office? I'm guessing then that there's nothing we need to mail in saying we went?

    Hello Rebecca,

At the day of biometrics, you will get a stamp on you appointment letter from ASC center which indicates that you have had your biometrics on that particular day. That also the evidence for you to keep in case USCIS says you haven't been showed up for FP.

  13. Hello, everyone..
