hey guys, so i was wondering if i dont have a drivers license yet and im in the middle of removing conditions and i have my 1 yr extension letter, will i be able to apply for a drivers license?

So i received my green card last yr in December and i dont have to renew it til 2011. I am moving so do i need to tell USCIS that im changing address and if so, how do i do it?

hey guys my interview experience:

We arrived at 9 and we got called and we swore in before we sat down. She went through our documents and she asked my husband (USC) questions like, birthday and mine, street address, work etc.

Then she asked me and abt my divorce then questions like how did we meet, what do we like to do together and common interest.

She then looked at my folder with all our bona fide evidence and she took copies of our join car insurance, bank accounts and phone bill.

After that she said congratulations you'll receive your GC within the next 3 weeks.

Pretty much straight forward and simple but it was nerve wrecking >_<.

Interview is tomorrow!! evidence im going to bring is:

2 join bank accounts

2 albums of photos

joint phone bills

another car we purchased

name on lease

magazine subscriptions

i hope thats enough... ?

i got like 2 yrs worth of chat logs... i dunno if i should print them out or not???

I was wondering how does EAD card work? DO you just apply for a job and show the card?

Do u also need a SSN to work?

I checked my case status online through USCIS and it was on the blue "Document production or Oath Ceremony" then when i checked it again it went back to "Post-Decision Activity" O_o

Has anyone have that happen to them ?

i just received my interview letter for December 10th... im so nervous about it >_<

Dont be nervous at all. It will go smoothly. We went overprepared and they ended up only asking for our passports. You will be fine!

Hey guys i just received my interview letter for Dec 10th. On the letter it says bring the following:

'.. and custody papers for all your children and spouses children not living with you'

I have a 5 yr old back in Australia and i don't have custody papers? Is that going to be a problem? Also, when i filed the forms i didn't file for her to be here with me because I wanted everything to be settled here first (get approved, get a stable job, bigger apartment etc) before i file an AOS for her. Is that going to be an issue too ?

Yayay!! finally i got an update for my EAD card is being produced. I can work and not just wait for the mail man everyday lol.

I was wondering how do you apply for a social security number?

OK I need a favour off everyone in this thread, I need you all to access the spreadsheet (in my signature) and check over the entries I've put in for you, look for any possible errors I've made and any missing pieces of data for your case such as:

1) Type of visa adjusting from

2) Whether you sent off a I-693

3) NOA date

4) Biometrics date

5) Whether you will attend Biometrics on the date given or will you try an early walk in

6) If you have been transferred to the CSC yet

7) Whether you filed for EAD or AP or both on top of your AOS application

I sent my AoS package on the 16th and USCIS received it on the 19th. What now?..

How long does it take for them to reply to you/send you a RFE etc.. I know its only been a week but it already feels like its forever...

I just sent in my AOS package today (fingers crossed for no RFE!)

anyways i just doubled checked the site and it says Be sure to mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS

I sent with USPS express mail but i didnt get it with return receipt ? i dont think......

Is that a big problem? >_<

im adjusting from VWP and im in the process of filing my AOS. In the I-765 (EAD) i came across a question i dont quite understand (Part 16) What do i put myself under? Is it C-9?

Can any VWP adjusters help me? Thankyou so much.
