Hello everyone..just got home from my interview this morning..VISA APPROVED!!THANK GOD..THANK YOU LORD!!and THANKS to VJ family who were always so supportive..

Now awaiting for the visa

Ok, just got back home. Dead tired, but really relieved. God, it's like a load off my shoulders. I was so nervous in the morning. My knees were shaking during the interview but I'm just really happy now.

Bears - Merlaine is leaving for Manila on Monday morning She's going to check into her CFO seminar and see if she can get it done while she still has her passport (St. Lukes will keep it). Then she's going to go do her medical either Wednesday or Thursday. Since her "diagnosis" there in Tacloban, her "PTB" (cold) has moved from her chest to a nice little head "PTB" (cold) complete with congestion and a runny nose..LOL I'm optimistic that she's going to pass that medical!! We're both prepared if she doesn't though

Yes,be positive that everything will be ok..keep the faith

Thats also what i was worrying about but now, i just keep on praying..entrusting everything to God's will..

I was already prepared to wait for the 2nd week of May and its only today that I was able to check my emails and guess what..?!INTERVIEW DATE ASSIGNED!!woooohoooooo!!! on June 2,2010 at 6:30 am..God is really so good!Thank you Lord!!

Aww Jrd!! I can't believe the embassy in Manila filled up that quick! When I talked to the operator at NVC, I asked if it was really busy. She said it was "pretty busy". From her tone I took it .... eh, so so. I wouldn't have expected it would be filled!! So sorry to hear but keep ur head up and call the embassy maybe?? You might be able to get moved up..I dunno.

I really want to do that..call the embassy to beg for a May interview date

But I just read from their website that the NVC will forward immigrant visa cases to the embassy of manila only when interview slots are available because the NVC,NOT THE EMBASSY,schedules immigrant visa interviews ..I dont know why it's like that? ..I thought it would be according to the available dates given by the embassy?

I spoke to an operator this morning and told me that they have completed scheduling interviews for May and that I will have to wait then until the 2nd week of May for a June interview date

I dont know if I would just have to believe her or will I try my luck to call NVC again tonight?

Oh #######!! ..this is not what I was expecting..my mind was set for a MAY interview!

I called NVC yesterday and then today still no appointment date yet for us Hopefully before the END of the week.

I think we are the only one left behind

What about all my friends with hearts in the Phils? One of the nurses here said something about a seminar. ?? What's it for? What do they teach you?

Now that I'm okay with our CC status, I wanna know all about what y'all have to look forward to.

Bangkok -- Husby will get a medical. X-ray. Bloodwork. Then interview. 4 or 5 simple questions. All evidence is submitted to the consulate on the morning of the interview. Then come back to pick up the visa 3 days later.
