I've got a buddy at work that is looking for a Mexican dating website. I've been looking around for him with little success. He does speak/read spanish, but I don't. Would like to find something that is free and has a good population of Mexican ladies. I figured this would be the best place to ask for him. Thanks for any information!

Never send the passport as far as I know...just need a copy of the bio page...although it wouldnt hurt to copy the whole thing. So, what did you use to prove your US citizenship during the petition? You would have to have some sort of naturization papers I would think..or was one of your parents a citizen? ..but you have the US passport and that will be your best bet.
Honestly, you shouldnt need that for the interview.....was it requested in a list from the embassy?
I used copies of every page in my passport for the I-129F. I get citizenship from my mother. It took alot of documents and a RFE to get the passport in the first place because I don't have a certificate of citizenship.
The reason I am asking is because the guides say to send the originals of everything in your packet. I'd really rather not send my passport since it is my only citizenship document here.
Thanks for replying

Do I need to send my passport for my fiance interview? I was born in Canada, but am a US citizen. I don't have any other way to prove my citizenship. No certificate, just my passport. Will copies do for the interview or do I need to mail my passport too? Thanks for any information!

Submitted 12/30, NOA1 1/5, got text today for NOA2. It said they mailed it 2/26, I assume that is the NOA2 date.
Hope it comes quickly for everyone else.

I know that everyone's heart is in the right place, but did anyone really read my two posts. If two people are not married at the time of the child's birth, and the child is not born in the USA, a blood test must be done. My wife and I brought in evidence of my citizenship, we had a declaration from the doctor with our child's picture, and we had his birth certificate. This simply is not enough evidence due to the amount of fraud that exists. These parents MUST submit to a DNA test, or the child will never be given its' citizenship in the United States. I cannot remember where this is written, but because I have a hard time believing the truth as I think it should be, I investigated this problem within the pages of USCIS, and DHS web sites. This is the law. I do not know if there are exceptions or not. I don't remember reading any. I would beging speaking to my congressional representative. By what I have read here in this VJ website, they have considerable pull when they start to make waves. Just make some waves.
Another thing, do not call 911. This is for emergencies only. It is not just a convenient venue for our use when it suits our needs.
One other thing, if you leave town, then your fiance can say that you abandoned her. Do not leave, but never be alon with her if she comes back. Perhaps start custody proceedings right away for your son through the courts. Him not having proof of citizenship may not matter. Just tell the truth.
I was not born in the USA. I am a USC, and I never went through DNA testing. I got my US passport in 08. They required my long form birth cert. My mothers(USC) birth cert. I got an RFE and had to add proof she was in the US for atleast 5 years(i think), proof I was in the US before I was 18. I could be off on these lenghs of time and age, but not by much, it has been a year since I did this.
