Hey everyone!
I just got home, lo and behold in the mail we got the letter for approval!!!!! Ale's card is in production and will be sent in 60 days! Can you please update our info? We were approved on Jan. 24th!!

We got our biometrics letter today from Vermont! So grateful. Appointment for July 10, one day before we fly to Italy! Sheesh cutting it close. Updating list.

Please share your outcome discussion with UCIS or the walkin. Since we're traveling if we get the appointment letter while we're away do you know what the protocol is for missed appointments?

Hi Stephanie,
we are in the same boat. Mailed our package on the 16th, got our NOA in June and still have not received a bio appointment. I can only imagine that they are backed up since there webpage is still showing that they are working on I-751's from back in August of 11. I am going to try and reach out this week to UCIS and see if I can get an answer or maybe try a walk in. We shall see.

Hi Guys,
I've been a longtime member, but have not really posted in the forums. Could you add me to the list too? I mailed our package to VSC on May 17th, we received our NOA on May 27th but it was dated May 21st. We have a little dilemma though. We haven't received our biometrics letter yet and we're traveling to Italy in July. Should we try to make an infopass or get the biometrics done early without a letter? Any help you could give would be most helpful.

On a venting note: Wah, we've had no touches since July 10th. AP and EAD not touched since May 25th! Biometrics done in May! I wish something would happen soon!

Happy to announce that my Alessandro has been approved for his visa. Got his passport back in the mail on Thursday! He flies in to JFK tomorrow!
Finally the wait is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm leaving in 2 weeks from today and staying for 3 weeks. We're flying back together on January 5th!! Where does your fiance' live? Mine lives in Campania, about an hour from Naples. Very excited about spending Xmas and NY in Italia!!
Alessandro is from Treviso which is half an hour outside of Venice. I will be there for at least a month! I called NVC today they already sent our case to Naples! I checked the tracking of DHL and embassy already received it today!

I got my NOA1 on August 25th. I got an RFE and just sent back all the required documents this morning. I hope they process my petition poste haste! Does anyone know how long after they receive the RFE packet approval is given? Thanks!

I got a text today saying my case has been updated!!!!! Whoo hoo at least now its being reviewed! VSC received my petition August. 25th so hopefully I'll get an approval soon!!!! I've been sending positive energy vibes and thinking to VSC to give Alessandro and I an approval.

Are there any petitioners filing for SOs in Italy? I'm the USC filing and put Rome as the embassy. Someone told that Naples is the only consulate that issues K-1 visas. If so will they send my package back because I put Rome? I have had any touches or anything yet.

Hi Arch,
Unfortunately if you intend to submit an I-129F while on VWP that is committing fraud. VWP is for tourism only and you will have to prove that you came on good faith to return back to England i.e. job, apartment, home. People have done this before but it is not recommended. You could face a ban if they find that you intended to immigrate to U.S on the VWP.
Hope this helps. I'm sure others will have more to suggest.

Hey there,
We weren't able to log in our case as well. It showed "case not found at this time." I called USCIS once and went to a 2nd tier agent. They said they saw the case and it was being reviewed. I had called last month. I tried to check the website again last week but to no avail. Then I got the approval letter in the mail.
