    Well the waiting has finally come to an end. On February 22nd the embassy in Cairo called my husband ... they told him that his physical would need to be updated after the 15th of march, so he had 2 choices... 1) he could get TB and everything up to date and then they would issue visa which would be good for 6 months or 2) They could issue his visa now and he would have to be in the United States before the 15 of March.... LOL no choice here!!!!! So right now i am lookin...

    hello, my husband and i were also interviewed in october.... recently i have found that there is further investigation going on in our case. Have you gotten your visa????? please let me know what you are hearing and i will be glad to share my information with you. Thanks Loly

    October 4, 2010 was our interview in cairo egypt. Still no visa sent, got on the phone today calling and calling and calling and hearing processing processing processing!!!! Finally got hold of someone that told me our case was in Washington, has anyone had there case in washington that can give me some information about what is going on here? Some time frames? Or anything.

      It's normal. Time frames are tricky. It can take days, weeks or months. Our case was in Washington for about 2.5 months then sent back to Cairo for another 1.5 months until the visa was issued. It's probably in name checks or some other kind of background check. Very normal.

      How do you know how long or when your case got to washington and leaves washington. I dont know when our case went to washington.... or if still there. How did you find out this information?

    I am so happy finally our 2nd NOA things are moving along. Planning a trip in the next month.
