wow! perfect! thank you,
by any chance would you know if i still have to do the I-134 if my husband was not told he needed to have it at the interview?, know it states some us embassys require it and others dont.
-
it is for the affidavit of support. I need to know if i need to pay this now if it is for the I-134, or if i can wait and pay it after he comes here and we process the I-864. It is for the k-3 spouse visa

I recieved a letter from NVC for the AOS fee. will this be for the interview(I-134) or after he adjusts status(I-1864). I also want to know. if they didnt ask for I-134 from my husband, do i still have to do it?

Subject: Questions regarding k-3 visa
Dear Consulate Staff,
My petition for my husbands K-3 visa is being forwarded to your
consulate, and then my husband is going to be receiving a package
containing documents that need to be filled out. I was wondering If you
ask for the I--864 and the I-134, or just the I-864, I have searched on
the web site and have not found the information I needed. My mother
will be helping me with the affidavit of support, would she be
considered a co-sponsor? I would like to be at the Interview as well,
would I be allowed?
Best regards,
Mrs. Cotea
Dear Mrs. Cotelea,
We received the petition for Denis Cotelea. He should come by the US
Embassy during ACS hours and we will provide him with the list of papers
and with the hardcopy forms that need to be filled out for his K3 visa
interview.
ACS hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2.00 to 4.00 pm; and on
Fridays from 9.00 to 11.00 am
Regards,
Consular section

isn't it not required at some embassy's? I e-mailed the embassy asking if it is required, i will probably get an e-mail monday.
-
it has already been forwarded to the embassy...it was actually very quick it has only been 2 months...for them to approve the petitions and have it sent to the embassy
-
my husband will be comming here on a k-3 visa.
the NVC never told me that i am supposed to send the I-864 affidavit of support.
the I-864 Instruction states:
When do i complete form I-864?
If the intending immigrant will adjust status in the united states:
Complete form I-864 when the intending immigrant is ready to submit his or her form application to register permanent Residen or adjust status.

will the embassy tell my husband that i need to fill out an I-134. Or will i just file the I-864 when he adjusts status?

we are both very happy about it. him and i both were thinking....jeez, there has to be a catch... heh...somone wants to get us out of the picture quickly they sent the NOA2 for both petitions (I-129 and i-130) together
-
would this be a problem if it seems like it was approved too quickly???

I don't have enough income to sponsor my husband for the I-864. Can my mother be a joint sponsor if she doesn't live in the same house as me? If my mother can be a Joint sponsor, do I have to file a I-864 as well as her, or does she just file a I-864.
-
i hope so. i noticed on another post you had stated that it is better not to send the i-129 form, i thought that sending the i-129 form would bring him here faster by going for the k3 visa?
-
im kinda just worried abut getting the paperwork back, because i organised it well. I know that they will send the money order.
-
I can't figure out what happens if you send the i-130 to the wrong lock box, i sent it to a lock box that is for a different group of states( i think) then the state im from. will they transfer it to the right lock box or send me back my money order saying that it was rejected. will they send me back my paperwork with the money order if they reject it? I'm still tracking the money order to see if it has been cashed but its the only way i will find out unless they send me something.

My husband went to his interview on 11/04 in chisinau, Moldova. He would have had an interview sooner but he was sick so we posponed the medical interview. He had a man, the guy never looked at any of our documents or pictures just asked questions the whole time.
Interview questions:
1. What family members from her side were at the wedding?
None of mine were there because my father is sick and my mother couldnt get off of work.
2. How did you meet?
We both worked at Hyatt together.
3. how many times has your wife come to visit you?
my husband gave the exact dates to him, from memory.6.
4. where are her parents from?
Her father is from maine and her mother is from North dakota.
5. how many brothers and sisters does she have?
She has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
6. where do her sisters live?
Her sisters live in north carolina near her.
7. how do you communicate with your wife?
Through skype
8. Why is your wedding ring on the right hand?
Because in Europe we where the wedding ring on the right. Then the counsular officer told my husband a story about his wife and him going to bulgaria and his wife made him put his wedding ring on the right hand so women would know he was married.
9. Does your wife attend school?
No she doesn't
10. Is she planning on going to school?
Yes she wants to.
11. how many times did you apply for the J-1 visa, and what were the outcomes?
Applied 3 times, first time i was accepted, other 2 times i was denied for lack of evidence of returning.
12.Why didn't you tell us that you had a fiance in america when you applied for your j-1 visa?
I was told only to answer the questions asked, and nobody asked me.
These are the questions i remember my husband telling me. after the interview the counsular told him to return tomorrow at 4pm.
the next day he returned and picked up his visa.
he bought a plane ticket for next friday!!!!
