I brought 6 mos of pay stubs, my employment verification letter and my tax return for 2008 (this was in Jan 2009) - all the CO cared about was the pay stubs & the employment letter, but if you made sufficient income and filed taxes for the last 3 years you may as well go ahead & get the transcripts - you'll need them for AOS and can use them again.

I don't have W2 form or tax transcript the only thing I have is pay stubs and letter shows the day I start the job and how much I earn I became fulltime employee earlier this year. Does the consular accept pay stubs as proof?

They didn't ask for that specifically in my husband's interview. In fact, they didn't ask for any pictures at all. The interviewer just looked at the pictures we had put in the original K-1 petition.

Obviously, bring pictures/e-mails/etc documenting an on-going relationship just in case. But the reality was we were never asked for them.

I have heard some people say they were asked when they got engaged. But I don't think they specifically asked for pictures.

Basically, if you don't have pictures of the engagement party, but have strong proof of an on-going bonafide relationship in your petition and you can answer straightforward questions about your relationship during the interview, you shouldn't have a problem. Nairobi is not the hardest consulate to go through by far.

It shouldn't hurt your case since you are applying for a fiancee visa. This means that they really only look at YOUR finances and whether you can support her when she gets to the US. That's why they have you (and not her) fill out the affidavit of support with your tax returns, salary, etc. They never even glanced or asked about my fiance's finances so I don't think you should have a problem. But just to be sure, don't mention it in the interview!

Seriously though, people send money to their significant others all the time. No big deal

That is good as long as they are not too picky that is fine, so when they called your name did they asked you alot of evidence proof of relatonship or they accepted what ever you gave to them. Help me about this I want know more before I go to Nairobi Embassy.

Remember all consulars are not the same some are too picky they ask more evidence, and some are easy they are not too picky so it depends.

You can tell yourself that all you like. Your question has been answered numerous times. I'm sure you don't like the answers that you've received, but that's not going to change the harsh reality of this situation. Used phone cards are useless. They prove nothing. They prove that someone called someone else. Only with call logs can you prove that you called your fiance.

I'm using this phone card long time; the phone card company they can not provide me call history where I called, how long did I talked etc. So if I Print out phone card transaction like how much I purchased would the consular accept that if I explain the situation.

I also called my fiance using a calling card. If you contact the calling card company they can provide you with a list of the phone numbers you have called using the card. I was able to request the information with my calling card and wasnt a problem. Are you using a rechargable card with the same pin each time? So just provide them with ur calling card number, and pin number, and they can email you all the activity on your account. Yes the k1 requires proof of meeting, but you should also show proof of an ongoing relationship. If you are unable to get a complete list from your calling card company I would provide it anyhow. Does hurt your process in any way so why not?

I called phone Card Company I asked them to give me call history; they said we can’t provide you with that information, they said we can only provide you how many time you purchased card phone.

No. It is not prooof of anything except you (or someone) bought calling cards. Go to "PennyBoss.com" they have a variety of cards, we use the "Continental" and it gives a full detailed reort of each call, the number called and the duration

Whatever forms are rwequired by that consulate for that visa application. It varies somewhat by consulate. DS156, DS156k, DS230, DS157 are all common, though not all are used by all consulates, and some are used differently by consulates. Kiev does not use the DS230 and the DS157 is for males over 16 only...at Kiev. Other require it for all applicants. The I-134 is usually included also. Specific instructions for that consulate are the most valuable thing in the packet
