  1. Thanks everybody for the reply...

    That's impossible. A reentry permit is good for two years. You've only had a green card for about a year. Are you sure you're not talking about your Advance Parole document? If so then don't worry about it - you don't need it anymore because you've got a green card.

    Are you outside the US now?

    No, still "inside" the US, didn't go anywhere...

    I'll check the card again whether is a reentry permit or advance parole doc...I'm not so sure about this.

    Once again, thanks for the replying...

  2. Please help!

    My reentry permit will be expired soon, what should I do?

    Should I reapply again? and use the same form I-131 (Application for Travel Document) only this form or any other additional forms? pictures? biometric ??

    And my permanent residence/Green card will be expired in June 2012 (valid w/in 2 yrs), should I reapply again, using the same forms or different forms ???

    PLEASE HELP! Help! :o thank you!!

  4. Is this written in Vietnamese on the bottle? If so me and the wife are going to have a talk.

    So far she has used it as eye drops and for a couple of cuts and wiped it under my nose and I suspect she wants to use it for about everything but aches and pains that it is intended for it seems. Because I have a young wife that is 17 years younger than me I have a lot of aches and pains so it would seem to be needed for that.

    No, since it made in Singapore (English & Chinese)

    It uses for EXTERNAL analgesic (painkiller)

    for external uses only

    use only as directed

    do not get into the eyes or mucous membranes

    do not apply to wounds or damaged skin

    Click on the link above for more info...

    Just in case if you get a cut, try to put on Aloe Vera (nip a little piece then put it on)

    It's a home remedy...Anti-inflammatory,accelerating healing time, relieves itching and pain...

    ooops, off topic :ot::whistle:

  5. LOL. More along the lines of not to use as eye drops or even better to not use on Americans.
    Such as may cause blindness? Do not use internally?

    :rofl::lol:that's a good one...LOL No offense!

  6. We are hoping that is what the problem is. We went as the paper said, arrived at 12:30 and were waiting with some others only to find that they decided to close after lunch even though the website says the 25th and nothing about the 24th. I took the liberty to read all the posts outside the consulate and found 99% of them to be in contdradiction to how things are done and at what times. I think I will be writing a lot of letters to my congressman and whoever else when I return home. I doubt anyone will care but I am not going to let this go with voicing some opinion. The other issue is the employees. The CO Doan had was very polite and curteous but the other girls wotking in the consulate (the Vietnamese girls) are incredibly rude and inconsiderate. This is the US Embassy and as a US Citizen I will voice my opinion about this. Anyone else feel the same???????????????????????

    Agreed!

  7. Bernie's news came sooner than mine - his fiance was out by about 11:00. Phuong and the kids had to go back after lunch.

    Pink party tonight at the Big Grill! Anyone in Saigon is invited! 7:00pm

    :dancing::wow:

    WOW! Congratulations!!! " PINK" --> :dance: X-mas gift :dancing:

  8. ScottThuy,

    Thanks for upload the 2 Packets (3 & 4)

    We can use those as examples for the next step...

    (Still waiting for Pk3)

    :clock::clock: so worried....

    Can anyone that recently got pkt 3 or 4 confirm if the pkt is still the same as these I have posted?
  9. Not the Visa...but we got a PINK SLIP!! :) He was told to come back on the 14th to pick up his passport with the visa in it.

    Here's what happened:

    At 12:30pm.....

    ......She said "oh" and then processed his paperwork, gave him a pink slip, and told him to come back on the 14th to pick up his documents... :D

    WOW! Congratulations!!!! :dance::yes:

  10. We did submit everything that CO require on our first blue slip but we still got other blue slip says we have to wait? I don't know what going now?

    Hello,

    How 's everything now? Just wondering giay to ra sao...Mong dduoc luon suon se nhe'! I wish you the best of luck ! LyTrinh...Cau nguyen nhieu cho nhau nhe'! :innocent:

    They are still in AP... There is a topic for HCMC AP and the group of people going through it....

    Hi there...could you please give me the link to..."HCMC AP"

    Thanks!

  11. We just recently got a RFE and part of the RFE was 2 unsigned forms by me the petitioner ... I'd print off all 4 for each the petitioner and the beneificary and sign all 8 just to make sure ...

    The main part of the RFE was a request for a photo copy of my passport but they did send the 2 unsigned G-325's with it to be signed by me.

    Thanks for the info...but I sent them already (4 forms/each)

    Now...just wait and see...Please pray for us!

  12. If you follow the new (July 2009) instructions, only 1 for each (US citizen petitioner and alien beneficiary) is needed.

    If you follow the instructions for the older form (suggested by many posters here to avoid possible RFEs), print 4 of each and sign each copy individually.

    In the future, please post procedural questions like this one in the K-1 Visa Process and Procedures forum rather than the Progress Reports forum (this forum). Your questions are more likely to be seen and answered there. :thumbs:

    Thanks for reminded me and also thanks for the info.

    Have a wonderful day!!
