  1. Scott - Interview was on 3-04-11-Blue need medical exam. No appoinment date needed to come back. Came back on 3-08-11 with medical exam completed and got a pink (with out any question). They mail her interview paper on Monday 2-28-11. She got it on Tuesday 3-01-11 with an interview date of 3-04-11.

  2. Hello All,

My wife got the pink slip and was told to come back in 1 week to get her visa but when reading the pink slip again the date to pick up her visa is 2 weeks and 1 day. She said: everyone who get the pink slip was told to come back in 1 week. We are not sure what everyone's pink slip said but maybe some one in here know.

Does the date on the pink slip always match the date they told everyone to come back for the visa?

  3. Your case was completed after mine and you are already got an approval. I am a little jealous but congrat!

Don't feel bad. We have a babe on the way so I requested NVC to experdited. They approved and send to HCM right away. Within 2 weeks we got an interview date from HCM but they only notify her 1 week in advange.

  4. i am also on the same boat as you tuan. my case has been completed and awaiting for an interview date. i called yesterday and they said feb is all full and bascially all the stuff they told you. i am also hoping for a march interview date.

Well good lick to you too. let keep in tough. My is completed on Jan 19.

  5. My case was completed on January 11 and have not get anything from the NVC yet. Did you receive an e-mail from the NVC yet?

I called NVC and hear the case status. i also spoke to some one and they said it is completed. When asking for a time frame, they refuse to say anything but I was able to get this from her. 'We schedule for the interview on the second week of each month and it pending on the work load in HCM'. If we are lucky, we will be interview in March, otherwise we are looking at April or May.

  6. This is very good information. Approved rate is 82% based on our pool - that is very good.

I was just wondering that how many members have contributed to our 2010 in total?

Can we some how find the over all approval rate in HCM for 2010? Does anyone know?

  7. Hello All,

I am looking for people whose in the same boat here.

We had our 129F denied and sent back to USCIS for review on Sep of 2009.

We got married in VN and submitted I130 in Mar and still waiting for it to be approve. 1st notice on May 21.

When look in USCIS we site, our 129F was touch on 9-4-2010. Not sure why?

I know that lots of people was denied last years and many have done the same thing we did. Have any one got approved and pink slip on a I130?

  8. We are going to do the reception in home town Saigon. We are doing it on one of the boat from Bach Dang river. I like the boat better then other places that specialize for wedding is that they just too many wedding on the same day and it looks crazy.

The nice thing in VN about the power outages is that people still go on with their everyday business. In fact, more people are out on the street.

  9. Hello yall,

Thanks for the advise. Just an Update - They got my I-130 on 5-17-2010 and I now waiting for they to approve it.

Also, I just got back from VietNam and it is hot over there. My wife and I took a tour together to Da namg, Hoi An, Hue, and Dong phong nha. It was very nice.

We are planning to have the wedding reception in this coming Sep. Any advise????

    Thank you all.

  10. Also add to that,

She was told before the interview that 'if you don't know then say you don't know and do not guess'

Even I myself do not know the name of the soccer field. I just know how to get there and I often talk to her while driving to the place.

Oh well, that's in the past but for everyone who is going through this, please remember to hire a service. They prepare you for all of these questions. We should had done that but I thought we are for real and those services are not needed.

  11. For my AP, I think the officer denied my case because I went there to much. The last time I saw him, he said: "I'll take it home over the weekend and review it for you". It was the labor day weekend. My denial letter was dated the week following the labor day.

I went to HCM many many time and saw the interviewer 2 time. Everytime, I got a feeling that everything is fine but at last they denied it. Oh well I am going back to VN again on the 20th of May and no plan to visit HCM. My wife and i just going to have fun and not to think about the wait. I think it is just a matter of time. At least I get to go to vn 3 or 4 time a year.

  12. He got denied in Sept after getting a second interview...

On the day of the second interview. She waited until 5 PM and send home. They said the office required additional processing time.

I came back again and met with the officer who did the 1st interview. he said he will take my case home over the labor day weekend and review it.

10 day after that, they sent my wife the leeter said the case is now close and return to USCIS.

  13. Thanks everyone for replying in here. At least my wife and I don't feel like we are againts the whole world any more. In preparing for dis-proved the reasons of denial, here are the reasons:

When asking for my manager name, my wife does not recall.

Where do I play soccer at? She does not know

Who are do I play with? She did know neither

Any thought? How do I prepare to dis-proved?

  14. Depends on if it were sent to Vermont or California. The USCIS website says national average is 5 months for decision.

I got the "Notice of Decision" from the USCIS informing that the K-1 case was officially closed because the time has expired. But when I send in my CR1, I also included a letter requesting to withdrawn my I129. Did you send a withdrawn letter? I have been waiting 4 weeks now and they have not cash my check yet. I check with an (so called) expert and he say: They need to locate my I129 (A file) to go together with the new case and it is some time causing delay. However, if they un-able to locate my I129F, they will create a temporary file(T file) to go with my CR1 but they will wait for 90 day before they do that.

  15. Hello All,

After my I129F was denied by HCM, Vietnam in 2009, I got married over sea and start a new I130. It mailed to Vermont center 4 weeks ago and have not hear from them.

**Does any one experience any delay on their I130 due to the old I129F?

**omeone told me that they have to locate my I129F file before they process my I130 - any thought?

**I was there in HCM city many time, spoke to the many C.O including the interviewer. I saw many cases were denied in 2009. I am sure there are people on here that in the same boat as I am. Feel free to share any thing you have.

**Getting married in VN is also NOT easy.

    Please share

    Thank you all

  16. Hello Everyone,

I've been following this forum for some time and now just wanted to join the conversation because i am going through the same thing here.

My fiance had her first interview last month and was given a blue sheet requesting a signed and notarized timeline of our relationship. So I provided it to them.

Now, she just had her second interview and was given another blue sheet. This is what it says:

The Consulate General is unable to issue a visa to you because you been found ineligible for her visa under the following section9s) of the US Immigration and nationality Act, as amended.

*Your case requires additional processing in our office. You do not need to submit furter documents. We will contact you when we have finished processing your case. Case inquiries may be made by e-mail <hcmcinfo@state.gov> or by mail.

This came as a surprise because, I thought for sure she would get her visa this time around. I even made plans to visit her in Vietnam next month for an engagement ceremony. I even bought my plane tickets because it so cheap now and I have a two week vacation time.

I'm thinking of contacting the Consulate office and try to set up an interview while I'm there in Vietnam. Maybe that will prove our relationship is the real deal. Is this a good idea?

My fiance is worried that our case will expire soon. She seems to think that the K-1 visa application process is good for only 9 month. I never heard of this. Is this true?

We also discussed an alternative to this: Getting married while I'm in Vietnam, is this possible? We might try this if we don't get her a visa by the time I get to Vietnam.

Good luck to everybody else that's in the same boat.

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I least your fiance got a second interview. For us, on the day that she came bac for the second interview, it was so busy that by 5 PM there are about 50 people still waiting. They called her up and hand her the same paper your fiance got. Getting married over ther is an option but you will have to wait for another year at least. I am also going back at the end of this month to see her and to talk to them. I was there on the first interview and spoke to them 3 time. Additional evident and time line was submit at the time and I got the empressing that my case will be good by the second interview but they did not call her some some reason.

As far as your case will expired, It is only good for 4 month from the day it approved but they can extend it as long as they feel that we are still intend to get married. However, all other paper, such as medical exxam and the police certificated are only gor for 6 months. I like to know what was said to your fiance at the second interview and first interview if it is possible. Can you call me at 727-452-3311. My name is Tuan

  17. Interview on July 13 2009 and got a blue pager for additional evident and time line on Aug 10th 2009

I came back in on the same day and talked to a CFO. He took the evident and ask for a relationship time line

On the following day, I came back in and hand it to the same CFO and ask him to review. He ask for additional evident that support the reason why I did not visit VN from 2003 to 2008 but when came back in 2008 and propose to her. I knew her from 2001.

I came back on July 16 with the evident. This time the same CFO that interview her came out and talk to me. Quote: This is not a perfect system. Sometime real case did not get to go and some time fake case got to go. evidents are not reliable and I and to base on the interview.

Come Aug 10th. She waited until 5 PM and there are still over 50 people are waiting. She was called to the window and a Vietnamese lady hand her this blue paper:

"The Consulate General is unable to issue a visa to you because you have been found ineligible under the following section(s) of the U.S Immigration and National Act, as amended:

Section 221 (g) of the Act porhibits the issuance of a visa to anyone who has failed to present the documents required in connection with the visa application, or who has failed to submit sufficient credible evidence to support the claimed petitionable relationship. The following remarks apply in your case.***

Your case requires additional processing in our office. You do not need to submit further documents. We will contact you when we have finished processing your case. Case inquiries may be made by e-mail hcmcinfo@state.gov or by mail.***"

I am not sure if this is good or not but I am lose. Have anyone ever been in this situation and got a pink letter in the mail?

anyone have any suggestion are welcome. you can contact me at 727-452-3311

    Please help!!!!!!

  18. Hello I am new to the site I joined sometime ago and have just not really used the site other then to get inspiration from all it's great members

my current situation is as follows my fiance had her interview in may and was given a green sheet requesting more information. we turned in all requested documents last week. after a 5 hour wait she was given a paper saying our case is under further review. she asked what next and was told she could inquire as to case status in 2 weeks by email or phone call.

my question is what now. do we just email and ask for status, I am at a loss. I feel we have provided everything we could and that was asked for.

maybe it is just nervousness and uncertainty on my part but it is our future they hold.

if anyone in the HCMC portal has any insight please respond thanks in advance for i know all of you are great folks from reading this site.

    Hello,

I have the same problem but my is blue.

I was there but not at the interview on July 13 - Got a blue paper requesting additional evidents and relationship time line. I submit the evident the same day and the timeline the following day. I also asking the consular to review the time line and he wanted additional evident. I submit the 2 day later.

Aug 10th, she came back and waited until 5PM and got another blue pager:

"The Consulate General is unable to issue a visa to you because you have been found ineligible under the following section(s) of the U.S Immigration and National Act, as amended Section 221 (g) of the Act porhibits the issuance of a visa to anyone who has failed to present the documents required in connection with the visa application, or who has failed to submit sufficient credible evidence to support the claimed petitionable relationship. Not sure what to do now. What is the different between green and blue paper? Have anyone have this problem before?

If you like to talk about this, you can call me at 727-452-3311
