Uscis is not very vigilant in updating there accounts. No one can tell how it is updated. Sometimes persons receive there documents and it's still not updated.

Good to hear that you got interview. You will receive a letter by mail within one month. To call them is waste of time coz they will not gonna tell anything about your interview according to there guidelines. so wait you will gonna get it by usps soon in your mailbox.

I was actually talking about the notice being posted to the MyUSCIS account.  It seems as if it will get there at some point, i just wasnt sure how quickly it gets updated

  3. Got a notice that the interview was scheduled but the documents tab doesnt have a doc yet.  Any idea of the usual delay between notice and the doc being uploaded?

Also is the website updated at anytime or at a particular time on a daily schedule?

Can I call to get the interview date, would the customer service person know?

  4. We will be eligible to file the N400 on Feb19th 2013 based on marriage to a US citizen.

The question is, we wont have filed 3 years of taxes by then (we have filed 2010 and 2011 but 2012 is not due by the date we want to file the N400).

Is that a big issue? Do they really need 2012 taxes seeing that it will not even be required by the IRS until Apr 15 2013?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  5. I am angry for you. They may have just been doing their job but in general CBP folks are a*holes.

Maybe its the high stress nature of their jobs, maybe its the fact that they have a god complex, maybe they feel inadequate that their purpose in life is stamping passports .

We put up with too much ####### from them because they hold our fate in our hands. We have to be all 'Yes sir" and "no sir" and be nice to them although they treat us and our loved ones like lesser beings.

    f' em.

  6. With us getting the CR1 approved, I probably will start checking these boards less frequently as my wife moves to the US next month (and we will probably get super busy).

So, I'd just like to say thanks to all the folks who have replied to all my questions and who took the initiative to become the leaders of the group (esp on the Sept I-30 filer thread, the Jan-Mar NVC thread & the April/May Interview thread) - you know who you are! Thanks a lot.

Additionally, the how-to guides on this website were amazing and helped us to cut costs tremendously.

I hope everything works out for everyone here. Thanks again.
