Because according to them you need an interview first.... which is odd since most I-130s do not need an interview. But I do know Phoenix is a local office that does them. Your only option here is to contact a congressman or senator to find out what's going on IMHO.

What do you want advice on? They said they cannot upgrade it until they interview you. Most petitioners do not have an interview.

My question was/is my petition is still being treated as a LPR rather than USC.

Dear VJers

I filed 1-130 Petition in Oct 2014 and later become a USC in May 2015.

I called USCIS on the date I become USC and requested for an upgrade of my Petition to USC.

I also had an Infopass and went to Phoenix USCIS field office and submitted request letter to upgrade (with copy of NA1 and Naturalization Certificate).

On March 10 2015 My case was transferred from California Service Center to Phoenix office as USCIS wanted to interview me for the petition I filled.

Yesterday, I got an email from Phoenix USCIS office saying that my upgrade request can not be accommodated as USCIS is in the process of scheduling an Interview for me in near future.

I am now confused. Wasn't USCIS supposed to upgrade my petition first even though I will be scheduled for Interview?

USCIS has the right to interview me before approving the petition. I am not worried about the interview.

But, What I wanted was USCIS to upgrade my petition as I am a USC. Am I not right?

Does the Phoenix field office does oath ceremony the same day as the interview? Has anyone done this at this field office?

I have 1-130 petition filed for my wife and I really need to be citizen as soon as possible to make my petition priority date to be current.

Will the USCIS officer be convinced if ask for the same day oath ceremony?

Dear All,

My Wife was interviewewd for CR-1 Visa in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and was not approved.

The Visa Officer said that phone bill did not show her number called.

This was due to the fact that I used Phone cards to make phone calls to her as they are dramatically cheaper.

The vias officer said that he will return the case to USA for revocation.

Please help. I want to know what to do.

I got my interview date today..It's on Jan 7, 2010 . I called NVC after I read one Vj'er got hers (epey_denz24).

I'm a June filer with case completed on Nov 20th.

This situation has really killed my excitement.

My husband posted his DS3032 from Glasgow, two weeks ago tomorrow. We didn't realize you could email it. As we have not heard anything yet, i.e. getting the IV bill, should we try emailing his form, or will that confuse things? I'm worried it may have been lost in snail mail.

I sent DS-3032 VIA DHL and was delivered and singed for on Sep 22. on that day (Sep 22) I sent an e-mail and got auto response. AOS Fee bill shows PAID status

my question is how long do i have to wait to get DS-3032 acceptance
