    We were approved too!

    We were third in line after Darkchilde and Rhiann. Our consulate experience sounds a lot like Peachey's. Everyone there was so nice! One of the lady's collecting papers was even joking about how everyone felt being there on Friday the 13th.

    I'll update more later, but time for bed! I am so sleep deprived!

    I just got home from Montreal after a very long drive home through whats left of Hurricane Ida rain and wind!

    Quick question: The Montreal consulate website says that the $131 USD is to be brought to a Scotiabank with 3 receipts ahead of time, but I thought that I read that they now collect the money right at the consulate that day? Would anyone be able to clarify for me? Thanks.

    Our packet 3 is now mailed in too. Add us to the waiting list for Montreal interviews! :(

    I think they mean when they mailed Packet 3 back to Montreal.

    I just saw that they had a date of when Montreal sent out packet 3. It looks like it took 3 business days after the package from NVC got to Montreal, so I was just curious because everyone else says it takes 5 business days.

    Originally I meant that we had gotten our packet 3 and mailed it back to them, so now we just have to wait for our interview date.

    I called every few days to DOS asking info, like if they had received or sent papers. They were able to tell me the dates NVC sent the papers to Mtl, the day Mtl got the papers, the day Mtl mailed our packet 3 out, etc. According to them, it did take a short amount of time from them getting the papers to mail packet 3, but it still took about a week for the mail to get it to my fiance. I hope the packet 4/interview dates speed up for everyone!

    *snickers* I love gamer humor. :D

    :lol: when I went to blizzcon last year they gave us kleenex which is probably most appropriate for this situation... they say QQNOOB on the box.

    That is awesome! I just linked this page to my fiancee, he'll get a kick out of it. We met through a friend, but got to know each other playing wow. Hopefully once he's here we'll make it to the next blizzcon! =)
