  1. Should update in 24-48 hours.

You've missed May scheduling but you should make it in time for June!

    Congrats and good luck!

How do you know if you've already missed the scheduling? We are super close to having case closed and I'm desperately hoping for a May interview. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

  2. THANK YOU DAVIDSGIRL AND DAN_LING FOR YOUR ADVICE. I WILL KEEP IT IN MIND... IM JUST GOING CRAZY BECAUSE IT IS JUST SO DIFFICULT BEING APART FROM THE ONE YOU LOVE.. I SIGNED ON THA PAYMENT SITE AND IT STILL ONLY SAYS STATUS PAID SO I GUESS I HAVE TO WAIT LONGER... I ALSO CHECK AVR SYSTEM ATLEAST 6 TIMES A DAY IF NOT MORE.. AND SPEAK TO OPERATORS ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME TO SEE IF MY STATUS HAS CHANGED.... :crying:

I REALLY DOUBT WE WILL MAKE IT FOR DECEMBER INTERVIEWS, BUT IM PRAYING EACH AND EVERY SINGLE DAY AND NIGHT..

HOPE ALL YOU HAVE 10000000000000 TIMES BETTER LUCK THAN ME.... :(

I DONT SOMEONE TO GO THRU WHAT WE ARE...

I know it really stinks but even if it takes as long as the AVR says that is only 2 more months and other people hve waited loner than that for NOA2! I'd would give anything to have my husband here but we made it this far and we can do this. I honestly feel it has made our relationship even stronger because we are handling it together even though we are an ocean apart. I wish you luck and hope you get a date you are pleased with. :innocent:

AMEN to that Diane. Thank you. And I hope everything is going great for you guys!

  3. I done my interview today -- waiting for my VISA here at the hotel SOON :-)

I thank GOD and to all my friends here :-)

    thanks sa prayers :-)

TO ALL my Batch of JULY filer's - GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS U ALL..

    SHIELA AND TODD

Your process has gone amazingly smooth!!! God has certainly blessed your family. I am very happy for you and Todd and wish you all the best in your life together and with the arrival of your little baby. Thank you for starting this forum! Its been nice having people to accompany you on the visa journey process. Well, have a nice flight!!!! and WELCOME TO AMERICA! :)

  4. I know how you feel...It's hard when you have little or no control over anything in this process, or WHY you are being overlooked, but what keeps me hopeful everyday is that there is a reason for everything. I know I filled out the paperwork perfectly, but for some reason it hasn't been approved yet. Keep the faith that it wil get approved in its due time. (The waiting is soo hard though!)

  5. Well thank you again and_sam, :) It really was a good day, but it could have been GREAT if we got the approval.... Oh well, I'll keep hanging in there and praying daily. I wonder if I did something wrong. Do you think it slowed down the process sending the I-130 AND I-129f at the same time? I sent them both in the same envelope in July because I heard it was OK to do that. I might have been misinformed. hmmm... Anyway, how's the NVC process going for you?

  6. I am beginning to feel like the last kid picked at recess in the school yard.:cry::crying:

It looks like treehugger and us are the only ones from July still waiting!

No, you're not the only ones left... there' still me! My NOA date is July 31st... still waiting. :hehe:

We got the NOA 2 on the 30th and are now waiting for the NVC number. Maybe you and MsSheka will be next up!

I hope so!! My birthday is on wednesday, and I keep hoping it comes then, because it would be the best birthday present EVER!! Congratulations on getting approved! And thanks for the encouragement! :D

  7.:dance::dance: It happened today!!!!! We got approved!!!!!!:dance: I got the email(s) today!!!

Actually 2 of them since we did the I-130 and the I-129f application!!!! No touches since they combined them and then WHAMMO!!! Got approved for the I-129 then the I-130!!! Thank You God!!!!!!!

Keep faith everyone!!!! It's happening EVERYWHERE!!

One of my friends who's husband had his interview in March 09 got approved for his Visa today too!!!!!

    :dance::dance::dance:

REALLY???????? CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I hope I am next!!!!!! We had really close NOA1 dates!!!! GOOD LUCK AT THE NVC!!!!

  8. I have a stupid question. Will it say "touched" when I login? Everytime I look I still see last activity is on 8/6 and I want to scream. Ok that's a bit of an exaggeration but it doesnt make me smile.

hehehe.... I know exactly how you feel, and don't worry, I don't think its an exaggeration to want to scream!! It won't say "touched" there will just be a new "recent activity" date. Doesn't it stink to have people jump ahead of you? I'm at the end of the July filers list, but still I don't like to be jumped by the august people getting approved. I'm willing to wait my turn... but it needs to be first come, first serve.

  9. OMG... Its my fault my hubby noticed that i enter the wrong RECEIPT # that is why we haven't receive any confirmation because i registered a wrong WAC #..

NOW., WE FOUND OUT THAT OUR NOA2 ALREADY APPROVED sept 1, 2009

lol funny ... but CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSS.....!!!!!! GO GO...!!!

Yeh its a big surprise really.. FUNNY we are both BLIND in our receipt #.. thank to my hubby he double check it.. then when he check online its already APPROVED sept 1.. LOL.. its sept 17 already..

JULY FILER'S GO GO GO... KEEP PRAYING!!!

WE ARE LUCKY JULY FILER'S I SEE MORE NOA2 APPROVED..

Sheila-Todd... Did you guys not receive an email from CRIS telling you it got approved? Or no NOA2 received in the mail?? Seems that they would send it out as soon as it got approved. Anyway... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  10. I know! Doesn't it make you curious to see EXACTLY how things are run over at the USICS?? I mean, are all our petitions on a pile and then they grab whatever is on top to process it? Or are the petitions divided out to the different workers? Seems to me that as long as the paperwork is all done correctly, they should go in chronological order. Makes the most sense.

Does anyone know how it really works over there?

    GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!

  11. I'm still in disbelief! I got an approval notice from USCIS this morning by email!!! Logged in on the USCIS site to verify, and yes, it's approved! Still can't believe it. Took just 58 days from NOA1.

Wishing a speedy approval to all July filers.

That is truly amazing! Congratulations for you and your spouse!! How did that happen? How were you able to jump past the May and June filers? I am very happy for you but want to know your secret!! :D haha.

  12. There is a couple I saw on Igor's list (Asma and Sheikh) that petitioned on July 31st, received their NOA1 on August 3rd, and their NOA2 on August 6th. WOW!!!! How did they get it done so fast!??????? Hmm... must have friends in the USCIS office... Or, had their papers expedited. Speaking of which... How do you qualify for an expedition??

There are also quite a few filers from June who already have their NOA2's. If only it could be so rapid for ALL of us!! :)

  13. I just wanted to wish everyone good luck. In July 2008 my husband and I started this crazy journey. Some advice would be to remain patient and read, read, read!! If you are at the USCIS stage you should be reading about the NVC so that you know excatly what you will do and what you will need. Also, you must remain very proactive because if you don't make your case a priority the USCIS and NVC will not. Good luck everyone!!

Thank you Peter'n'Jaime for your post!! I think your journey is the most realistic when it comes to expectations of the journey for us JULY 09 filers specifically. I will take your advise and read up on the next stage. I appreciate you finding our forum to give us hope.

Congratulations on your life together!! You seem like a cute couple. :)

    Krista

  14. A friend of mine mentioned the other day that waiting for an immigrant visa is worse than being pregnant, because at least with pregnancy you have a DUE DATE!! Visas are a mystery!

I just sent my I-130 in july and got my NOA notice date for July 30th. So we are BARELY july filers. :) Like that makes much difference. Good luck to ALL OF US who are waiting for our spouses to be granted entry into our country.

Lets keep in touch. Its so nice to have company!
