Hi... how to pay the green card on USCIS ELIS?
-
I just talk to a agent from USEM and I ask about the technical problem. The lady said only the non- immigrant applicant are affected...
-
The reason for updates is they are touching your father's record. Doing their normal processing. It's not unusual for a person to have to wait a month. We have seen situations where it has taken upwards and sometimes beyond 6 months. This is the time to have patience while going through the process. Contacting them would be my next step. Here is the information if you want to do that.

Local number: 632-301-2000 extension 5184 or 5185 ( 011-632-301-2000 ext 5184 or ext 5185 )
The Embassy’s main trunk line 301-2000 is experiencing technical issues and prone to congestion. If your call can’t get through please use these numbers: 301-2166 or 301-2177
For visa appointment related inquiries, please contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930.
** (703) 520-2235 (this is a USA number)
For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit's during normal business hours, except between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.
NEW EMAIL ADDRESS
In order to serve our visa applicants more efficiently, we have created this new e-mail IVMNLAppointments@state.gov , for early appointment requests and visa scheduling issues. Please note, however, that early appointment requests will be approved on a case to case basis (i.e., aging out cases, or in cases involving personal or medical emergencies), and only if visa interview slots are available.
For other immigrant and K visa concerns, please send an e-mail to IVManilaReplies@state.gov
.
To enable us to electronically sort the messages and provide better, more timely responses, you should follow the instructions below.
The subject line of your email should indicate the visa applicant’s last name, first and middle name (ex. DOE, John James), case number/USCIS receipt number, visa category and priority date.
Messages should be limited to 500 characters or less. The mail size should not be more than 15 KB.
Do not submit documentation or attachments with your message as our system is unable to receive inquiries with attachments.
Do not send your inquiry more than once as duplicate inquiries will congest our system and delay our response time.
Thank you Greenbaum
I called them many times and giving me the same answer everytime
My dad's medical is expiring next month
-
same here. i had my interview last april 13. CO told me everything is good they will just wait for my medical result. they recieved it the same day of my interview. they didnt give me anything. since then my status is in AP. the status update date never change since then. this is killing me. did you chrck your status update date if theres any change?
After the interview it's administrative processing for 7 days then it went back to ready until now. The status update change,May 18, 25, 28 then June 8, but I think the reason for update is because I'm sending inquiries.
-
Hi all.. Tomorrow is gonna be a month since my father's interview, until now the status at CEAC still Ready for interview. My dad said the consul told him that everything okay and he just need to wait for the visa in mail.
When I send the supporting document last year, I only include the tax return for 2013, but they never ask my dad the tax return for 2014. I'm just wondering if that's the reason while the visa is taking so long, but didn't get any email requesting the 2014 tax return.

As long as it's inside the plastic envelope then there is no concern.
Thank you Greenbaum

is the Immigrant Data summary always stapled to the yellow envelop? my mom said when she got her visa, the immigrant data summary is inside the plastic packet but not stapled on the yellow envelop.
-
My wife has her seminar this June 10, and I read in the cfo website that she needs to bring the original and a photocopy of the immigrant summary sheet. Our problem is, the immigrant summary sheet is stapled to the yellow envelope. Can my wife remove the data sheet from the envelope? If not, what is the best way to approach this situation? Does she just have the sheet photocopied while still attached to the envelope, and then bring the whole Visa packet with her to the seminar so that they can see the original copy as well? I read somewhere here that its bad to take the data sheet from the staple. I do not know what is right. For the people who have gone through the seminar this year, please tell me how you approached the situation.
they only need the photocopy of the Immigrant data summary
Requirements for Registration
- Original and photocopy of passport (must be valid about six months before date of travel)
- Original and photocopy of visa
- One (1) 2x2 or passport-size photograph
- One (1) valid identification card with photograph (eg., SSS ID, GSIS E-card, PRC ID, driver's license, postal ID, ARC, etc.)
- Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for USA-bound emigrant (must not be detached from visa packet) except for K visa holder
