My wife had her interview in Atlanta (October 2009 Filing) on Tuesday Jan 19 and then her Oath Ceremony yesterday Wed Jan 20!
It appears that everybody are being asked virtiually (if not identical) questions and it looks like the are the same for many USCIS Office and change by the month! There is a pattern here!
My wife didn't remember what she was asked to "read!"
She was asked to write "The President lives in the White House."
She was then asked 6 questins which she passed with flying colors ...
1) Name of governor of the state.
2) Name 2 national holidays.
3) Who was the first President?
4) Where is the Statue of Liberty?
5) What is age to vote?
6) What was the name of the movement - Civil Rights Movement? (sorry if not exact question .. look at your test documents.)
While waiting in line yesterday for security screening to get into the oath ceremony, I overheard 2 other people talking about their interview .... they had different questins to read and write but the Civics Test questions were 100% IDENTICAL!
So that information (and similiar situation with some posters in December who had same questions at different USCIS locations) leads me to believe that there are the same questions being asked across-the-board for the month of Jan 2010!
In any event ... GOOD LUCK to everyone else who are going throught the N-400 Process ....
My your journey be a good one with a fantastic ending!

THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE .... no need to be rude OR a jerk to others unless you truly are one!
-
Hi ...
Well, actually you don't need an attorney for this but now that you have one .....
The application says to send in the supporting documents along with it but who am I to argue with yor attorney!
GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND...
-
They 100% will do fingerprints all over again ...... for the n-400 application. You pay them the $80 and they "get cha' again!" They do no take photo for N-400 as you send picture in yourself with the application!
Good luck to you!

They are NOT looking for a marriage certificate with a current date ... they just want a copy of the original which you already possess. Current marriage certificate means the one that "is in force" now ..... when you both were originally married!
Also, do not send the original for the N-400 application! Only send a photo-copy .... Just take it with you at the time of interview! Good luck!

Remember this was the interviewer's FIRST day and FIRST person ... so maybe she didn't remember that no one else is allowed inside the interview!
Anyway ... the most important part is the passing of the interview! Again, super congratulations!

Update for us:
Biometric fingerprints were completed on Dec 4.
We just received an email (Thursday 12/17) that our file has been tranferred to our local office for a "standard interview!"
The Journey continues ......
-
Looks like USCIS / FBI is in a giant slow-dwon mode ..... things were moving quickly before .. like 3 weeks for interview post biometrics but not sure (other than holidays) what is slowing stuff down.
We did fingerprints just about 1 week ago (Dec 4) ... was hoping for interview before end of year ....
Nothing anyone can do but wait for a bit ......
Looks like we are all in a "quasi" stuck mode!
Here's hoping that things "come alive" and start to speed-up!
Don't need to take much of anything to interview .. except maybe origian docs of what was mailed to USCIS. Virtualyy nobody has been asked to show anything from what I have read! Maybe take along a couple of passport photos ... updated bills, etc. won't hurt ..... may not even be an issue!

Congrats to YOU!!!!
Hope our Atlanta Interview goes as easy and as well!!!
