We met in Vienna, Austria in 2001 while studying abroad. He is from Minnesota, I am from Montreal. After our semester abroad, we both returned home and spent 2 and a half years separate with monthly visits. His company transferred him to Vancouver in January 2004 and I moved also! We got engaged in October 2004 and are planning to move to the USA in the summer of 2006 when he goes back to school.
