Yea we are done ! == Only need to update with Social Security to get a new card and update her status and get a passport. We are not going to gamble on mailing the Certificate of Citizenship off since it is so hard to replace.. Instead we are going to buy a ticket out of the country and make an appointment at the passport office inside the 2 week windows thus compelling them to issue a passport on the spot an in person...

Part 8 Section F -- My wife was married before -- Her X husband has never been outside of China and has no U.S. immigration status ... As such we are going to select "Other" -- what would be a good thing to write in the line next to other ?? "No US STATUS" or -- "ONLY CHINa" ???

Part 6 A = "Where have you lived during the last fire years?"...

Part 6 B = "Where have you worked (or, if you were a student, which schools did you attend) during the last 5 years"

My wife and I will be sending in her N-400 paperwork early September. We have both been married before.

In looking at the form the information required about her X - Husband is easy and not a problem.

My X- Wife has since re-married and has changed her name.... So.. . What name for her do I use on the form?

1. Her maiden name?

2. The name she used after her marriage to me?

3. The name she used after our divorce?

4 Her current name?

Zephod - Update -- Notice the noa1 is the same as the mailing date -- they must have done what they said they would do in regards to back dating noa's because of the processing delay. Lets hope the GC arrives soon after the biometrics are taken....

Today we recievd our NOA for i-751 HOWEVER -- when we file our joint petition -- our step son was also included in the petition.

The Reciept letter extended my wifes green card conditional green card for another year as expected -- BUT there was no mention at all of our son == who was included on the petition...

1. Should we be recieving another reciept letter in his name? (our son)

2. If the above is not the case -- does this letter also cover his green card even though his name is not mentioned?

3. I would assume that the Biometrics letters are to follow shortly -- in the case of the 2 yr green cards we got one each .. Will this be the case for the 10yr green card?

4. If I dont recieve a reciept letter for our son say in the next few days should I then schedule the dreded infopass appointment?
