My NOA1 date is Mar. 17. From what I read most people got their biometrics letter just a couple days after they got NOA1. But it has been 2 weeks for me and there wasn't any touch to my cases since Mar. 18. I wanted to be patient but couldn't help getting upset... Anyone had the same situation?

Once you file for AOS you are in legal status. The EAD card can be the proof of your legal status, and you should have no problem applying for a visa and going back to the US. But if you are planning on returning without visa or AP then that will be a problem. I think once you leave the country without AP while the AOS is pending it means you abandoned your green card application...(could be wrong though as I can't remember this exactly)

Missouri
City/Town: St. Louis, MO
Date of Service: Mar 2010
CS Name/Office: Dr. Raymond Leung
CS Tel. No: (314)727-8099 (1034 South Brentwood Blvd, Suite 660)
Cost: $50 (for vaccine transcription only)
Turnaround Time: Second day with appointment
Comments: I was pretty lucky that I found this doctor after only a couple of phone calls. The whole process was rather smooth. When I called, the nurse asked if I wanted the whole form filled out or only the vaccination part. They knew this very well so I didn't have to explain or argue... The price might not be the best but I'm happy enough with it.

The form has been updated and there's no need to notarize anymore.

guess i'm not in ap...whatever processing i was told my k1 was going though it was finsihed and my no2 approval was revoked by NVC and the whole petition was just sent back to uscis. i thought nvc had nothign to do with k1 other then assigning it a consulate number and sending it off..
Scary and disappointing. Let us know what you find out. Someone has to give you a reason. It might be lawyer time.
that's the funny thing..i already had a lawyer..and he can't get any info either. Wait 2 weeks for a letter from uscis..and yes i'm already working on getting congress involved again for the 2nd time.
In your timeline you mentioned you had 2 refusals at the POE? Did you get those after you applied for K-1? Would it have anything to do with that? Just a guess... This is painful.

I think soon you will get your approval notice (considering you are at CSC, have been waiting for 3 months, and just got touched). Mine was touched but the status was never changed to "approved", and a few days later the hard copy came. Good luck!

We also have the same problem - our case was approved on 16th at CSC and NVC hasn't received it. I think that most of people got their cases transferred to NVC in a very short time, so it's making me a little nervous.
firdaus, when your case was pulled for AP, although they didn't tell you it was under AP, they did tell you they got the case, right?
Haven't got biometrics letter...

Thanks for the reply. No I don't live in rural area, and I got my NOA1 hard copies in 3 days on 20th. Sigh...
