I am preparing my husband's AOS papers and having trouble finding some numbers. How do I locate his admission number and A# ? one of the forms is also asking for his I-94 number.

Thank you to all those kind people who answered my question. Another thig that I would like to as is when would be our deadline to turn in his AOS packet.

His arrival was Dec 29, 2009. We got married on January 15, 2010. His K-1 visa expires on March 24, 2010.

Do we have to do his AOS before his 90th day here in the US?

thanks everyone. the only reason we were kind of holding back on applying for it is because we thought it would cost us another $340 as stated on USCIS website.

Hello all, my apologies if this is not the right place to post this question but here it goes...

My husband and I are planning to submit the paperwork for his Adjustment of Status next week. I heard that if we apply for his work permit, we will receive it about the same time as his green card. My question is, how many of you guys applied for the work permit and if you did receive it almost the same time as the green card. I would also like to know if the work permit will no longer be needed if my husband already has the resident card.

Hello everyone! My fiance arrived Dec 26, 2009 and our wedding will take place on Jan 15, 2010. I called our lawyer today ( who charged me $1000 for our document preparations) and he said will charge me again $1500 to help us put together the paperworks that we need for my fiance's AOS. I woul honestly say that we cannot afford that kind of money right now and I would like ask you, my fellow VJ members for assistance. I would really appreciate if someone could provide me a step-by-step guide or direct me to a link if there's one available.

POE: Dec 26, 2009

Wedding Date: Jan 15, 2010

these are the questions that they asked my fiance on his interview:

- my full name

- how long have I been in the US

- when and how did we meet

- where I work

- when was the first time we saw each other in person

- my address here in US

he passed the interview on Dec 15 and he's on board now and I will be picking him up at LAX at 8pm

My fiance got his one-way ticket for $481. He had to pay before the 18th and his flight will be on the 26th. I'm not sure how he was able to get that very low price. I think his aunt it for him and she's a frequent flyer.

just a quick update, My fiance called USEM yesterday and they have received it on Sept. 1st. His interview is scheduled on Oct 5.
