    Just wanted to drop by and say hi from a Kiwi! You are super helpful around this site and really seem to know your stuff. Hope Iowa is treating you well! I've been in the US for 3 years in March, do you find you still feel pretty homesick after so long?

    awesome! shouldn't be too long. I got here in like March 2010 and sent it off in July, as long as you do it before your visa expires lol. Hopefully you get your EAD pretty soon! keep me posted :)

    Hi Ken, yes you're right, eastern Washington is so boring, even in the summertime it's still a barren sagebrush landscape, very different from the green pastures of NZ! I love Seattle too, hopefully we'll look at moving there in the next year or so.
