  1. Interview this morning; approved. Questions were simple and easy: how did you meet, when is his birthday, where was the wedding, what are his parents' names, what is your address. Our interviewer was really friendly and nice but we could hear someone the in another office nearby just hanging onto their patience by a thread. It sounded like they were having to pull answers from the petitioner the way I had to sometimes fight my dad's dog to drop the ball.

  2. So, here's something new and fun. I called the embassy to see if the petition had arrived. It got there just fine (woohoo!) and they already sent Konrad a letter (again, woohoo!). However, they decided to randomly add a digit to his house number and didn't really seem to believe me when I gave them the correct address. Now, I've got to get the least detail-oriented person in the world, a.k.a Konrad, to follow up with the embassy so that he can get started on the paper work and let me know what I need to pull together on my side. Awesome!

  3. Hi guys! I just want to share u guys that i just recvd an email from uscis few minutes ago. Our petition got approved!!! Im so happy!

    Woohoo! Congratulations!

I'm actually surprised with myself. I have not called NVC once, and I really don't have any intentions to. I know how to check their shipping out, and the last few shipments have had papers going to Montreal, so I'm content with that. :) I also know I have another 3-6 month wait for the whole interview process, but this is the final stretch; I'm happy with the pace right now. :) I'm so looking forward to May, though, because that's when I get to see him again, and what's comforting about it is that I know that I will not have to sat goodbye to him again at the end of this trip!!! :D

I hope you all had a wonderful New Years, and I wish you all speedy processing times!!

    How do you do this?

  4. You know the Notice Date on our NOA2 says Dec. 23rd, so the first day it was "touched" it was already approved! What a tease! I guess the other 2 touches were them mailing it to me. I'm sure that is the same case with you lol. :star: That will be a great after New Year present

Thanks for the information! Again, congratulations! I'm sure you are so excited you can't sit still. It seems that you've been so nervous; you must be the happiest person in the forum right now!

  5. NOA2 RECEIVED IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew they were just too lazy to update the status online (still says "initial review") geeeeez

Roy G. Biv you should be getting yours soon too!!!~

Can't tell you guys how crappy of a week I've been having and to see this in front of me has melted away half of my stress lol.

Hope all the rest of those waiting get it next week!

Congratulations!! What a way to ring in the New Year! You mean they approved the petition on the 28th but didn't change the status online? #######! I'll have no idea if the same thing happened for us until I get back to the US. I'm in Germany with the boy until the 7th.

  6. Ok...someone at CSC is working today since one couple who had gotten RFE earlier this month got approved today. Is there a way to make this person approve our file too? lol :P

Hey, Rosie. I'm with you. I've been trying to be calm and patient but...GEEZ! C'mon! Three flipping touches and a massive pause for the Christmas weekend...I'm getting pretty antsy having my life held in purgatory by a bureaucrat.
