Interview this morning; approved. Questions were simple and easy: how did you meet, when is his birthday, where was the wedding, what are his parents' names, what is your address. Our interviewer was really friendly and nice but we could hear someone the in another office nearby just hanging onto their patience by a thread. It sounded like they were having to pull answers from the petitioner the way I had to sometimes fight my dad's dog to drop the ball.

She passed her interview this morning. Couldn't be happier.
Congratulations!!! Konrad's visa was approved today. It's weird. I thought it would be so much more exciting. I guess it's better to stay calm since he can't be here until August and I still need to focus on finishing up my classes this semester.
-
Yay! Konrad's interview is schedule for 5 May 10! Keep happy thoughts for us...kharma might kick me in the butt for being such a rotten teaching assistant this semester.
-
Hi Rosie,
My goodness! Congratulations!
Kizza!
We'll probably be right with you in terms of the interview date. We're still getting around to getting our paperwork in for the interview. Trying to do way to much multitasking...
-
Good luck Rosie!! Hope it all goes well and smootlhy for him!
Let us know!
Good luck!
-
So frigging excited right now!
We got a touch too! Finally!
WOOOHOOOO!

Just wanted to drop in and offer good thoughts to those who are still waiting on their NOA2. @CSC: FIND THAT BOX!
-
So, here's something new and fun. I called the embassy to see if the petition had arrived. It got there just fine (woohoo!) and they already sent Konrad a letter (again, woohoo!). However, they decided to randomly add a digit to his house number and didn't really seem to believe me when I gave them the correct address. Now, I've got to get the least detail-oriented person in the world, a.k.a Konrad, to follow up with the embassy so that he can get started on the paper work and let me know what I need to pull together on my side. Awesome!

wegotatouchwegotatouchwegotatouch!!!!!!!!!!!
we are still in the 'initial review' phase, but our case was updated on Jan. 4, 2010!!!! YAY!!!
ok sorry guys, I just wanted to celebrate a little bit.
Now let's hope we get our NOA2 soon!
Don't apologize for being excited. You've been waiting for this just as anxiously as the rest of us! Things are moving along for you and I'm thrilled.

Hi guys! I just want to share u guys that i just recvd an email from uscis few minutes ago. Our petition got approved!!! Im so happy!
Woohoo! Congratulations!
I'm actually surprised with myself. I have not called NVC once, and I really don't have any intentions to. I know how to check their shipping out, and the last few shipments have had papers going to Montreal, so I'm content with that. I also know I have another 3-6 month wait for the whole interview process, but this is the final stretch; I'm happy with the pace right now. I'm so looking forward to May, though, because that's when I get to see him again, and what's comforting about it is that I know that I will not have to sat goodbye to him again at the end of this trip!!!I hope you all had a wonderful New Years, and I wish you all speedy processing times!!
How do you do this?
-
So, I couldn't wait until I got back to the US to wade through my mail to find out what happened to the petition. I just got off the phone with NVC and THE PETITION IS THERE!!!!! It got there on 31 Dec 09! Yeah, baby!
-
You know the Notice Date on our NOA2 says Dec. 23rd, so the first day it was "touched" it was already approved! What a tease! I guess the other 2 touches were them mailing it to me. I'm sure that is the same case with you lol. That will be a great after New Year present
Thanks for the information! Again, congratulations! I'm sure you are so excited you can't sit still. It seems that you've been so nervous; you must be the happiest person in the forum right now!

NOA2 RECEIVED IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew they were just too lazy to update the status online (still says "initial review") geeeeez
Roy G. Biv you should be getting yours soon too!!!~
Can't tell you guys how crappy of a week I've been having and to see this in front of me has melted away half of my stress lol.
Hope all the rest of those waiting get it next week!
Congratulations!! What a way to ring in the New Year! You mean they approved the petition on the 28th but didn't change the status online? #######! I'll have no idea if the same thing happened for us until I get back to the US. I'm in Germany with the boy until the 7th.
-
Ok...someone at CSC is working today since one couple who had gotten RFE earlier this month got approved today. Is there a way to make this person approve our file too? lol
Hey, Rosie. I'm with you. I've been trying to be calm and patient but...GEEZ! C'mon! Three flipping touches and a massive pause for the Christmas weekend...I'm getting pretty antsy having my life held in purgatory by a bureaucrat.
-
Touch #3 today. CSC is back at work!
-
TOUCH! The box has been opened! Maybe we'll have our NOA2 by New Year's.
May my case help others.
