  2. Wow that means you are at witts end on this matter but she needs to know how hard it's is to make and earn money here maybe give her some bills for her to be responsible so she that she will have to pay for the lights and heat bills is a good place to start make her pay it with her own money she earns once she sees how much it costs for wasting it i am sure it's will help or make her responsible for buying the food for you and herself so she can see how much things cost and why one should not waste anything. hope this ideal will help. Nate

My sweet little Claudeth is a wonderful, giving woman but is also the most irresponsible person I have ever met in my life. I never seen anyone melt a bar of soap before but she does it. She can plug up the shower drain quickly and just loves to take 30 or 45 minute showers twice a day. She leaves the lights on constantly and the refrigator open all the time. She will fill her plate full of food and eat about 1/4 of it and the rest goes in the trash.

I am totally at my wits end. I have been dealing with this for 4 1/2 years but have made no progress in teaching her conservation. I love her very much and would never dream of getting rid of her but have been thinking of sending her to the Philippines for a visit.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have heard comments off and on but nothing consistant with what my little consumer does.

  3. Well any pay stubs that shows that you make engulf income to support your love is proof as i would use the last few pay stubs as some jobs will show how much you have made so far this year and if your pay stubs are like that then just 3 will do. Nate

I know the more the better, but how many is recommended? Will 5 or 6 of the most recent be adequte?

  4. As for this matter if you are in love and that if you are able then one should help your lady of your life after all you will be living a life together after all she is your future wife(asawa) and if she has kids then one should help but first know that they can handle it as the Bible says one that is good in little can be trusted in much right

The only thing I sent my fiance were some unmentionables, so I won't mention them here. :star:

  5. that is one poll that should be added how many sent help back :star:

Give me a little slack this was the first time I ever did a poll. I really was only interested in people that were sending money and I know there are some who don't send anything. As far as the amount you can either add your cost of sending the money or not and push yourself into the next bracket. Feel free to make another poll and we can all compare.

You are also missing on your poll....when it is the other way around....they send it here... :bonk:

    Hi VJ-ers!

I just want to share a video that gives me the giggles.

It's a short skit on a show called, "Bubble Gang" that stars "Angelina and Yaya".

It particularly makes me laugh since I grew up with a yaya and didn't speak a lick of Tagalog back then.

I love our yayas but sometimes my mom, siblings and I like to tease them in public and go, "Whatever yayas!!!" In return they respond, "Ay so naughty si Ma'am Angelina 1,2,3,4,5 and 6..." (Us 5 plus mom) LOL.

  8. John as long as you have a history of taking care of yourself and having a roof over your head that is nice and clean with plenty of food and that you is capable of taking care of her then you should be ok what they want to know she won't be a ward of the state( welfare) and I am sure that you both will do very well love is so amazing and beautiful I wish you both well . Nate

Does anyone here know how long you should be working at a company before you would feel safe about filing the Affidavit of support form ? Or is there a length of time you need tobe at the company before you can file it. I just recieved the noa-2 not long ago . and will start a new job soon . I know i need 3 pay check stubs for proof to the embassy. That i can afford my new bride. The job i have is a low paying job but it will be over the poverty guidelines. Can I get some feedback from my fellow visa journey members. Thank you john and kirsteen

No this is not my first job. Ive been working stedy all my life and have been making a fair to above pay all my life . I just dont know how the interviewer will look at it being that i just started the job. Last years income was in the 50,000 dollar range.

  11. Hope your asawa get's her permit soon too as i would like to know how long it will take as when my asawa comes to Michigan when her K1 visa is done I wish you all the best as i will soon will have to deal with this too hang in there as it's can't be any harder than going though the us gov  . Nate

So... we go to the Secretary of State's office last night to apply for a temporary instructor's permit (its required before you can take a drivers training class). We have my fiancee's SS card and passport/visa/I-94 with us but we still have to "prove Michigan residency" by providing a bank statement, utility or credit card bill (2 items required). We are not married yet so of course we have nothing in her name yet. Wouldn't let her take the written test simply to get the learners permit.

    What a pain!

  12. So which papers should i file with the K1 visa papers and should will need a copy for her interview when that day come? just would like to know as our annulment is almost done and will like to know so she can mail me the right papers to sent with the I 129F thanks Nate

  15. thanks you for all your help here as i am sure i will be back here for more info thanks Nate

I want to know if i file for my k1 visa form(130) will i get more time than the 2 years since we first met as my future asawa was married in Philippines when we met in Nov 07 and the annulment will be done next month at last since i could not file until her annulment was done. what i want to know if there a form i can use to get more time while the K1 visa is being done. Nate

what if you have file the within the 2 years will it be ok as i will file this September she has the k130 forms now and will mail the forms when the annulment is done in a few weeks.

    -------------------

K1 fiance visa is the 129f form not the 130, and it's requirements are simple and set out plainly.

You MUST meet in person during the past 2 years to file the 129f. Either file the 129f before Nov 09 or go visit her.

Exceptions would be if your social or religious customs conflict with that. Financial hardship does not exempt you from the meeting requirement.

Extreme hardship would be, for instance, if you had a medical condition that prevents you from traveling to a meeting place.

I suggest you read the k1 visa guide here on visajourney until you are very familiar with it.

Filing the 129f properly really is straightforward and simple so long as you follow the checklist and answer all questions carefully and assemble the packet step by step..

There are plenty of people here on visajourney willing to help if you get stuck or confused but take the time to read the guide first.

    Good luck.

    S.

Nate - it sounds like you've got some research/learning to do ahead of you. You're quoting forms that have nothing to do with a K-1 (the I-130) for starters. And secondly - as stated above - you're not going to get 'more time' to meet qualifications.

    Start Here

yes i will have some learning to do as this is the first time for me and yes i have everything else including pictures of us (with family) and picture with just us plane ticket and hotel,e-mail and phone texts, letters and proof that i have been supporting her as well . she has the k129 papers as i sent it in a box to her she got it a few months ago. Nate

I don't quite understand how you get the form numbers incorrect?

Especially as you claim you sent her a "K129"! :bonk:

If it's a I-129F she doesn't need it. You are the one that signs it and submits it.

Get working on reading the guides.
