Hey everyone Just interviewed today and passed in Guangzhou! Bob g, they are being real good so far this month at guangzhou giving visas. A few other guys and me were waiting for our fiancees to come out and they all passed! Good Luck man!!!

I keep hoping every day that someone is going to "touch" our petition. It is true, this waiting for the NOA2 is the hardest part and it's only been 6 days since they received our packet! I'm going to be a basket case by the time a month rolls around!

Somebody please touch ALL our petitions! (In a good way! :>)

FredErika, waiting for the NOA2 definately sucks, I also wanted you guys to be aware that, in some cases, like in my case i never got a "touch", my NOA2 just arrived . (my case actually never showed up on the website until after i recieved the NOA2). Thought yall might have wanted to know that, because when i was waiting i was going crazy because i hadnt gotten a touch

I went to the STAPLES store and they had photo holders for the 4x6 printed pictures and it also had a little pocket on the side of each photo for a small piece of paper to describe the picture inside. (I only saw the holders for the 4x6).

I got a question. Has the majority of early may filers recieved the p3? I recieved the NOA2 Sept 1st, and the hard copy from NVC on sept 16th, Im getting a little nervous because my fiancee hasn't the p3 yet, looking at timelines I think she might should have it by now.

We have received both packet 3 and 4. You should have it by now actually. I recommend contacting the embassy and inquiring about it. We had to have packet 3 emailed to us because it took so long to come by mail. Packet 4 came a week and a half after it was mailed.

Thanks, First thing in the morning Im contacting the embassy. I had a feeling she should have recieved the packet by now.

Guangzhou gets a little slow sometimes. I have not received any information since 16 September's NOA 2.

Yeah Ive been hearing how Guangzhou is much slower than other consulates, I guess we could make the best of it and use the time to go through all our paperwork with a fine toothed comb. We'll probably be there about the same time.

Yes and in the meantime prepare DS2001 (Applicant Statement) and DS230 - Part I...so you can send it in ASAP and speed up the process...Have you called DoS to see if Packet 3 was sent to you? 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

Yeah called up DOS, they told me that the petition was sent electronically and mailed to the embassy. Guangzhou embassy has the electronic file but not the hardcopy file. Hopefully soon something will happen.

Does anyone know where I can download the packet 3 forms from? If so are those allowed to be sent to the embassy instead of waiting on packet 3 to come to my fiancees house?

Question for those who got your NOA2's: Did you get a touch before your e-mail or did you just get an e-mail? Thanks!

I did not get a touch before the email, in fact I could not see my case at all online ( I kept getting that error message). After i got the email, i decided to check the status online out of curiosity, and it actually appeared as the approval being sent out.

I agree thats why I was hoping it didnt, I figured it could lost in the mailed or put back in storage.

My question is this, I have moved from North Carolina to California for a job with DoD, I haven't notified USCIS of this yet, will my petition be transfered to the correct service center when i notify them of the address change?
