I did go to my congressman. They told me that they can't do anything that the only thing I can do is wait. The embassy told the congressman that my case is under review and there is no time limit. :-(. I know people say this all the time, but help from a congressman has not been my experience. This is the 2nd time I've contacted one over the years and nothing.

I am sorry they did that to you. Unfortunately I can believe it. Over the past several years they have told my on three different occasions that he was approved. He was even asked to send his passport twice. Nothing surprises me coming from the embassy. This embassy doesn't give anyome information, not even my senator. Inshallah we will both hear good

Hi Tamer, I don't have any new news...It's always waiting. The only thing we can do is be patient and keep checking with the embassy. I haven't talk to Muslimqueen in a long time. She went through a different embassy than us though and her case was not the same. All of them are so different that it is difficult to tell. Hopefully, we will both hear good news soon.

We still don't have any news either. I emailed the embassy two weeks ago, but they have not responded yet. My husband is not a computer guy. I talk to him on Skype sometimes through his brothers account.

They are either verifying documents or they are verifying your relationship.

Because they are using the word review...they are verifying something at the embassy level. The problem is that we never know what they are trying to figure out. It'd be easier if they'd just tell us.

I have had all of those emails from them over the years. Your case is under review at the embassy, which is different than administrative processing. I wish I knew why this takes as long as it does. Inshallah we will both get good news soon.

The embassy in Amman uses the words "administrative review" when they are doing internal work on your case. They use the words "administrative processing" when you are in name checks in Washington DC.
