WELL MY HUSBAND GOT HIS VISA TWO WEEKS AGO AND HE SCANNED HIS VISA AND PASSPORT TO KABUL AIRLINE TO BOOK A TICKET. HE DID THIS FROM KANDAHAR, AND HIS CLOSE FRIEND WILL BRING HIM THE TICKET FROM KABUL. MY DAD FOUND OUT AND HE SAID THIS WAS ILLEGAL AND HE WILL BE TROUBLED IN THE AIRPORT UPON HIS ARRIVAL TO THE US WHICH IS IN 5 DAYS!!! SO PLEASE HELP ME, IS THIS POSSIBLE WHAT HE DID, AND IS IT OKAY?? IS IT LEGAL? THE TICKET WAS 1100.00 US DOLLARS, I HOPE THE PEOPLE WERE NOT TRICKING HIM. PLEASE HELP MEEEE.......I AM PRAYING FOR YOU ALL.......

Thanks Transformer for the info. I dont know why Dubai will take one of his suitcases, but my mothers friend's son was coming through kandahar airport, then in Dubai they took one of his luggage, and kept the other one. I hope the same doesnt happen for my fiance. Also, if anyone knows how long they keep people waiting in dubai??

Congrats to all with visa in hand, isnt this weird, as soon as my fiance received his visa everyone else started to get them too. well i am glad that happened, and i will continue to pray for everyone else who is still in Ap......good luck and pray my fiance gets here soon, and has no problems in POE...thanks alllllll

Thanks revived, but the thing is with my Fiance is that he cannot come through Pakistan Airlines, because he does not have a Pakistan visa and they will issue him a pakistan visa for $800.00. That is a lot of money plus the airline ticket is 1100.00 for Kam air. So my family is suggesting him to come through Kabul but my bro-in-law is saying that he will make a stop in Dubai and that they will give a lot of problems there. I hope someone will give me some advice, for this is the last phase that I am going through. I am praying for everyone so please PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEMS??!!

Yes, i don't think this is true transformer, My whole family has been coming through JFK forever, and doesn't matter which airport you come through you will interrogation. And also my husband doesn't have a beard, and is only 21 years of age, so i don't think he will have many problems. But it is all in ALLAH hands, but i thank you for trying to help. Umm he has not bought a ticket yet, because he has to renew his pakistan visa, and i was also wondering how far along they will issue him a ticket, i hope a week or two before ramadan... My Fiance's interview was on April 13, 2009. It has been 3 and a half months since he has been in AP, I think he was one of the lucky ones after all. Although I heard ISL embassy is up and running and are clearing people who are under AP. Insha' ALLAH you will all get your visas in hand soon. Yes i was inquiring about DOS and had no idea about him getting the visa although I prayed day and night. One thing though, what is POE? Does my Fiaance have to go through that process? I have never heard of POE? Will he be able to get a ticket immediately and come to the US?

waiting4approval, I just called them to see what they will say and i was on the phone for about 10 minutes and i had to press a bunch of numbers to get to the right option. I am not sure which menu to choose to actually get to the right person to get an update on my Fiances visa status.

Is the islamabad embassy really up and running and are actually clearing people from AP? well i hope so, MY FIance has been in AP for 3 and a half months now. He received an email from the ISL embassy saying he will receive a call or call letter from their office soon but has not received one as of yet. DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT IS A GOOD SIGN, THE EMAIL? OR NOT?
