Hi and welcome to VJ!
If you like, in a few weeks, you can call the FBI and ask them about your biometrics if they have cleared or not... they actually share that information with the applicant. This may give you some insight on when to expect the oath if the biometrics have or have not cleared
I think the OP is talking of background check here and NOT biometrics. Biometrics are done b/4 interviews, right?

The "L" is silent...

When going for biometrics for N-400 are they taking also a picture, or only the fingerprints?
Thank you.
I only got finger prints taken. This was at the Baltimore office.

Hi everyone,
A while ago, I posted a question about my selective service card, and that I couldn't find it. Well, I found it (finally) and I wanted to know if the 'Last Action Date' on it is my registration date since it is requested in the N-400 application?
I am less worried about this question, but the date on it is not close to my residency date, is this OK?
thanks!
You can find the accurate registration date by going to this site: http://www.vkblaw.com/sss/verify.htm
All what you'll need is ur last name, SSN and DOB.

So I'm one of the January applicants for naturalization and my interview has been scheduled for March 30, 2010. The date I became a PR as shown on my GC is 3/31/05 which means that I'll be 1 day shy of 5yrs on my interview day. Do you guys think that this will be a problem?
Thanks.

"Her medical treatment wil be handled in her own country no doubt through the "much superior" FREE medical care available there and she will not have to suffer at the hands of the inferior American Capitalist medical system (at least this is what some say, I presume you don't agree because someone you love actually has to be a patient of free medical care)"
Gary and Alla,
You have the right to your opinions but it doesn't serve anyone good to spit out wrong information in a manner so confident as if you knew exactly what you are talking about. "her own country no doubt ...... [has] FREE medical care available" Who ever told you that Cameroon had free medical care?
Well, it does NOT and it's important that the world knows that.
Good luck on your case atk_721.
