  1. Hi all,

Yesterday me and my wife went for interview at baltimore,MD. Officer was nice. we took oath and then she asked couple of question we answer them correctly. she ask for some evidience so gave her that.then she asked to my wife that she need transcript for 2013 tax return. she told us go downstair get the transcrpit and give it to reception. Interview last for almost 15 mins. then she said everything is ok,i will review , we may call you for second interview or you will get the desicion in mail.

then she gave us a letter mentioning that interview is done and desicion is pending. out of 3 box one was checked. that box was saying your case is held for review USCIS does not require any documents or infomation at this time. if anything reuqire we will send you mail. you may schudle for second interview otherwise final desicion will arrive in the mail within few weeks.

I don't know what to expect? are we fine? i mean we are legally married and nothing we did wrong.

please help i am very worried.

    thank you all

    please help.

    thanks

  3. Sorry, your question still makes no sense.

All petitions go to the same place, so no matter if you send it from Alaska or Florida, it goes to the same place. It sounds to me like you are asking where you should postmark your package, and that does not matter. You must put that you are living in NY and that your wife is living in MD. Your interview will be in NY because that is the state of residence of the immigrant (unless your wife is the immigrant, you don't say). You don't have a choice in that matter.

What are you trying to ask?

    thank you 'Harpa Timsah' ,

that's what i wanted to ask? your answer satisfactory.

  4. all the forms specifically ask the beneficiary address and petitioners address......so fill the address accordingly......

if ur living in NY put tht address as ur address.....bcoz putting the Maryland address as ur address would be giving wrong info.

Thank you very much for reply but what if i change my address to my wife's address? becoz in interview if they ask why guys living seperately?

Actually we got marry on december 24th 2012 and now i am making papers ready to file but i got stuck with this address question? I am living in NY as i am a student and my school is in NY my wife is working and she is looking for job in NY so as soon as she will find job in Ny will start living together.

so pl. write all the suggestions you have pl. pl.help me as soon as you can.

    thank you very much

  5. thank you Blob18

Do you have an immunization/vaccine form that lists what you have gotten? If you do, the exam total for my wife was around $130 in 2011.

If you don't have a record for what vaccines you have received...it could cost a lot more.

Here is where I went (Cost $130 for exam w/ vaccine list):

    21114 - Crofton, MD

    Dr. Stephan C Kurylas

2191 Defense Highway, Priest Bridge Overlook, Suite 104, Crofton, MD 21114

    (410) 721-2422

I would call them and see how much it would cost for however much (Full exam, partial exam etc) you need.

  6. your parents can petition for your brother - yes!!

The case category (unless the petitioner becomes a US Citizen will be - FB F2B

based on current processing times your brother would receive his green card in 7-8 years.

Your brother MUST remain in legal status to adjust his status from a F1 (student) to F2B (LPR) otherwise will have to return to his country to continue visa processing.

thank u for quick reply but if after filing for my brother my parents will be citizen in 2 years then what should be the years for process?

  7. According to Page 4 (item 13) on the I-485 instructions document, one needs to submit G-325A for the folks submitting I-485.

In the I-130 instructions document Per Page 2 - Section 1-D, if you are submiting a petition for your spouse, then you need to submit G-325A as well.

Note all forms are cumulative in nature. e.g. If you are a husband sponsoring your wife, and are submiting an I-130 and I-485, then you need to submit 2 sets of G-325A forms (one for I-485 and the other set for I-130)

    Good luck

thank you everybody for nice reply i understand that in I-485 G-325a is necessary for the applicant but what about the petitioner if she is daughter of applicant.

according to I-485 form g-325a is need to be filled by applicant. and I-130 is telling that G-325a required both for husband and wife but no where mention about parents in I-130 for g-325a.

please make my self clear i am wrong.

  9. Hello all VJ's

i want to file for my parents both I-130 and I-485 what is exact prosess for filing. Do they (my parents) have to do medical examination and FBI cleanrance before filing or with the filing or they can do afterwards? both is the initial process of filing?just filled form I-130,I-485,I-864 that's it.

what other documents i have to put with the i-130?

what documents i have to put with the I-485?

thank you very much for your replies.

  10. I believe on other threads about people receiving wrong cards 10-year vs 2-year I said something like this could happen and here's the example.

OP: what sort of documents did you bring with you to the interview? Tax returns, bank account statements, insurance cards, letters/postcards to you and your husband, beneficiary statements, will, junk mail sent to the same address, utility bills, lease...

172 pictures won't do you much good, they want financial co-mingling evidence.

You now have to wait and see what comes in the mail and take it from there.

yes milimelo, i went to interview with the all the documents which you mentioned also they interviewed my husband too with me.
