I-864 is for aos. Apparently Manila embassy doesn't accept co sponsor. But it is a case to case basis. Back when I was doing k1 I didn't know it either, since my husband was a student back then and didn't file taxes the recent year and was not making any money but he just started working. I still went on with the co sponsor but make sure it's a close relative though, I also wrote a letter how am I not gonna be a burden to their country, and when he interview me I explain him everything why my husband now wasn't making money back then and I needed his stepdad to co sponsor us. And they approved me after 2 minutes. So good luck to you and don't get nervous,.

I had the same situation with u not too long ago. I was told that my documents is at the local field office after 10 months and a week and said that I should receive my appointment notice within 30 days about my interview. I was pissed off too. And I'm pretty sure my medical is about to expired having my medical done 4 months before sending the aos.. And voila after 2 or 3 days my case status changed to card production. No interview. No rfe. So my advice is don't believe in whatever they say. It is possible though but not 100 percent.

Daca is defer action for childhood arrival. If your not applying for it and you are adjusting your status u need to skip it. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Filed aos last August 2012 and I received 10 year card today. I thought about receiving 2 year card and removed conditions off it but I been married for 3 years before I filed aos. Do I have to still remove conditions on it. We're married for almost 4 years now

After sending me a letter on my service request that my case is pending that I need to wait for my interview notice they approved it after 4 days of e request. Yay finally I can have a vacation from uscis

Yea I know right. It's kinda mess up after 10 months and they will tell u u will having an interview. I don't have a problem going to an interview it is just that its very frustrating to know that I thought my case was interview waived as I've seen and read with the August filers on board. Lol I'm still hoping they will approved it in few days though.

So I came here as a k1 was married in 90 days. So I filed for aos back in 8/20/2012 and had my ead and ap last nov 2012. So I made a service request last week and received a letter stating that the status of service request our records indicate that we will send u an appointment notice once an interview date is scheduled. Your case is currently in suspense until the interview date.. ... So after 10 months and a week I'm gonna have an interview. I thought I was with one of the waived interview cases. Anyway my local office is in Atlanta. Any one here on the same boat with me?

hi guys,just want to ask this and hope i can get an answer,cos i get confused with the answers that i get on the other forums..my fiancee came here last sept 11,and were getting married on nov21,her 194 will expired on dec 10,when can we adjust her status?we know that after we get married we can adjust but the problem is i think it will take time for us to adjust her status because i got screwed up with my ex credit card and im the one whose paying for it now so it be hard for us to save some money for it right now..is there a time limit for us to adjust her status?thanks

yes they sent first before we scheduled the interview,then we call again and re-schedule the interview on an earlier date.goodluck

supposedly the interview was on sept16,but we re schedule her interview on august 27,i went at embassy at 5am,i got inside around 6am,they check my ds forms,then i went to get my number,after that,i went back to my seat and wait for my name to be called for the scanning,after that i went back to my seat and waited for an hour for my number to flash for the prescreening, the lady was nice,she ask me where did we meet,when was the first time we saw each other,if i been married,if my fiancee has kids,what is my fiancee job,when did he start on that job,what do i do,if i have a degree,.she get my nbi,cenomar,birth cert,eveidence of engagements,affidavit of support,i told her that we have a co sponsor,and she ask why,and she accepted it with a smile..hehe,then she told me goodluck...then i went back to my seat again and wait for my number to flash then after 10 minutes there it is my number flash..the consul look nice,i was so nervous,then he ask me to raise my right hand and ask me to tell the truth,then he started browsing my papers and asking,he ask me,where did we met,how many times,what does he do for living,what does he do before he started work on his current job,he ask me if i have a job right now,if i have a degree,and if i am a license..then he told me,ok youre visa is approved now..i said thank you with a big grin on my face then i went to another window and they gave me the famous pink slip and ask to pay the air21......finally,the long wait is over,we can sleep now with a big grin on our face...god is good

today i want to post here & get some information or advice from u...

i have friend here a close friend and she received a NOA2... same as me also and then when we talked lately about other requirements she's pretty well completed her documents & we both waiting for the wage statement & income tax return from her fiance & mine as well because we like to be prepare & organize all things... but then...

lately she is calling me & crying because she said, her fiance didn't applied an income tax this year and she said,she will don't have anything to show about income tax return in her interview at embassy... what she will do?

her fiance is working in goverment of post office as a driver... so for now, i keep trying her to be okay and giving some strength but i can't answer well her question what she will do & also i dont have idea about income tax return? what will i say or advice to her & also her fiance? is there anything chances or way how her fiance can get an income tax return or what? :help: is they start over again or what?

hi,why did her fiancee did not file for 08 tax?tell her fiancee to write an statement/explanation letter why didnt he filed for recent tax return,my fiancee did not file his tax return to on 2008 because he was a full time student last year and he was a dependent to his step dad income tax return 08,so we provide a letter from my fiancee why he did not,and we provide his letter/statement and diploma,and tell her to provide an employment letter,and recent paystubs..its also bothers us..i hope to god everything will be fine..goodluck to your friend
