Do not worry,you can file single now and amend your taxes when your husband gets here. You add kids if you have any. Remember, you amend your taxes 3 years back. IRS should be owing good chunk of dollars. Tell your husband to let CO know you are going to amend your taxes when husband gets to the US.

Hello Good people please help me.

My tax preparer filed my taxes single while am am married.

He is insisting there is no way I can file with my hubby because he did not live in the USA and did not work there, he also doesn't have a ssn and itn number so I cannot file with him.

Please what do I do and how do I handle this situation as I am due for interview soon please.

Will I be asked and what if I explain to them??

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Today i received my n445 letter stating my ceromony is July 30th @12pm at the Us district court in Kansas city Kansas.

I waited long time for this letter.

CPlease may somebody add my date to the list, i tried but messed it up July 30th Oath Ceromony.......

In the best of my knowledge we are late because our checklists reached NVC late. My PD is Nov 26, but due passport delay in my home country, I did sent DS 230 on May 19 meanwhile I-864 got them in February.Well, my case was completed on June 7, so right now waiting on interview date.

When did you send DS 230 ? for sure in 3 weeks your case will be done.

the thing is you have to send ALL your documents in their original form, and you also send in photocopies. Be ready to send in the original or Certified True Copies of your Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certicate (if any) Beneficiary's Birth Certificate, Children's Birth Cerificates, photocopy of beneficiary's and children's bio-data page of passport, and any other document you deem necessary for your application.

Please I would like to know when best to file for US Citizenship. I got to the US June 14,2005 on Diversity Visa. I know I have an option of filing 90 prior to June 14. I don't want to file early.

Thanks Shallom. I want to believe you should be receiving DS3032 form and AOS bill sometime soon since a few Dec '06 "priority dates" have received theirs just last week. I hope you have provided NVC with email addresses of yourself and your wife. NVC prefers email communication.

To your question, I submitted a photocopy of the biographic data page of my son's international passport with the DS 230 forms.

Hey SamKunle, I may be wrong but you seem well knowledgeable about NVC process. Well, I'm a LPR, did file for my wife and kid with PD Nov 24,2006. Got approved in May 29,2009 and received case # from NVC July 21,2009.

It seems some guys with PD in December 06( wow !) are getting DS 3032 and I-864 Bill. I have been checking my mailbox too.

What documents were required for your kid ? I have 2 boys, 13 and 2. Did you have to send your kid copy of passport as it's required of the Primary beneficiary ? Yes I visited LingChe and James short cuts. Hope reading from you soon.
