Today I got the email stating that on September 10, 2009 they mailed out the approval notice for our I-129F!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 5 and 1/2 months we finally got approved thanks to our congressman's office inquiring for us about why we expired the wait time!!

Thank the Lord!!!!!!!!

spoke to my attorney this morning . he told me to chill and enjoy single life. he just received NOA2 for another client of his filed in January 2009 with no additional touches and RFEs or other #######. So chill and relax and enjoy ur life USCIS is all over the place and absolutely wacko

USCIS should send out an email whenever a file is touched :-) I am sure that's not a hard thing for them to set up if they wanted to.

It's supposed to do that. If you sign up for email updates, it is supposed to send you a message each time the file is updated.

Apparently, it's broken. Some get it, some don't.

ARE the files ever updated ? Especially OURS?????

here is a little update on my harassment progress. called these arseholes at USCIS at 5 pm and spoke to some lady at tier 1 she gave useless info that we all know, telling me that they are currently working on March 5 day and its all FIFO . I politely asked her to transfer to supervisors or real workers. She did it with some hesitation and guess what .... Tier 2 arsehole gave me the most absurd answer : I have to wait 18 days and then they will start working on my case . I asked her why 18 and not 8 since my case is filed April 17 she said they dont work on weekends and holidays and other blimey . I asked her if estimation on progress is 5 months means business days or calendar days . She replied :calendar then I asked her if she is jewish or muslim. She replied neither. Then I asked her again why 18 and not 8 . does USCIS close on Rosh hashanah or during Ramadan. She simply said 18 days and asked me if she can help me with anything else. I wonder if every dumbarse is that polite in Government or the more dumber they are the more polite they are

Quick update, I just called the NVC, said they have received our file, gave me a new case #...but that it had not been sent to the consulate yet and it's in additional processing. I asked her what that meant and she said "I don't know". NICE.

What DOES it mean anyway? Does that delay us yet again?

I have no clue but Im sure there is a reason,There are alot smarter guys here that can give you insight then I can.I just hope its done for you fast and you 2 can be together,Im going crazy right now wondering if Ill ever be with My Anya, I miss her so much, The pain some times is just torture! I guess I have no choice but to wait and deal with the pain.

we are all in the same boat as u r , bo no doubt these governement workers are truly lazy flicking arseholes I cant imagine how much we can save if they all let go . That would be awesome and pay them on performance basis . Be strong at leats be happy ur more human than these beasts on the phone

Hey guys just to give a update. All was sent in last week on the 2, So I called them this morning and I was told that it could take another 60 days now to be approved, The man told me they stop working on it and then when they get rest of info they will start back on my file when they have time.

Just called USCIS to continue my harassment. Arsehole who knows less than nothing told me that VSC worked their cases on FIFO basis which we all know a big pile of stinking poop. Also told me that I have to give the cases 5+1 month extra before even thinking of inquiry about it. Very helpful. great way to start another week

I went to Europe couple times this summer to meet with my fiancee and on both occasions took pictures and saved all the supporting docs such as boarding passes, restaurant bills, hotel reservations etc etc etc. Made copies and sent to VSC as additional docs to be attached to my file. Usually USCIS don't reply to such correspondence if this is not a reply to specific RFE. This weekend I received a letter from VSC acknowledging the receipt of recent correspondence. But no touch on the system. Called my attorney, he was surprised. He never heard of such letters. and again told me that USCIS is a bunch of lazy incompetent arseholes who don't know what they doing and have no system to their approval process. Its all wait and guess game. Any ideas? Why no touch? Why the letter to the second attachment but not first one? Why ? Why ? Why?......Input appreciated

To my understanding....i don;t think you would have sent those pics and other particulars to VSC ..instead it would be to the center where the Visa will be issued. With understanding, you have done that and i believe it will not serve as anything to them. Because if your case if approved,. it is approved and VSC can;t disapprove it again. In some cases, it will be denied at the center where you will received Visa if you do not have enough evidence to back- up your case. I pray that everything works out fine for you. You need to follow your case until it gets to the final destination (being the center) for issuance of Visa. Most a times the system will never been touched, even when you have received your visa, do not rely on the system. It is a waste of time and money if i would say.

why don't u take a number of april or even march filers still have to wait as an average number for may or june people. that suppose to be fair and square

I got my NOA2 today, my NOA1 was dated the 19th May So its a very happy day in my house considering I have food poisoning and ran from the bathroom screaming and jumping to tell everyone possible.

Congrats !!! question -- ur NOA2 was dated May 19 but why did t take 2 months to put it in system ? Did u request expedited processing based on error of late input since March 11?
