  3. LMR,

it s not cuz my country s paksitan. As i asked the officer and we really talked in a very friendly environment. The reason, he told me was that i m wrapping up ur file and was going thru your evidences.

He said that it s not due to ur origion or something, but to check ur status of relationship, as law s to make sure, relationship s bona fide and couple s living together.

    Girona40,

ur point of view also, make sense. However, i didn't give any particular information about us to him and he never asked about it. call was private on called ID. Bu, he introduced himself and then he was aksing questions according to papers, we sent.

He was talking friendly and looked like , he was looking if we live together. But, i did told him, timing of our sechedule, we present home or not.

    man, u made me suspicious.

    however, lets hope the best

  4. I have never heard of this before. It sounds like they were a little suspicious in the original interview. I wish they did more business over the telephone.

I think you will get the card soon now. You have proven to them that the marriage is valid.

Ya, We were luck that were at home and got a very good oppertunity to talk to him freely.

i hope that he got, what he was looking for, to see if we really live together.

  5. Guys,

Yesterday, in the morning, we got a call n it was from our interviewing officer. Luckily, we were both home.

He talked to my wife for a while and then , my wife told him if he wants to talk to me.

Then he talked to me for quite a while. He told me that i was passing through ur evidences and it has been fouth month since our AOS interview.

He told me that i was just checking on u ppl. n he asked about our life, n if we both live together.

I told him that i m here to live with her. asked pretty much same questions n stuffs, which he did in interview.

he told me that may be some times, he will call n check. I told him, no problem n told him the timing, we r normally at home during normal days.

then he talked to my wife again n she explained everything.

Finally, he told her that u will be hearing something in next few days.

He was nice this time and listened to our discussion good.

i felt happy, that it helped to avoid our appearance for second interview.

My wife told me that he looked satisfied to me this time n i hope, u will be approved in few days.

I told him that if there s something still needed from us, whcih can help u in our case, just let us know.

i m feeling a glimmer of hope now.

does it happen to ppl normally?

  6. thats odd for sure,

I think, one of the main things, they asked for in interview s ID and I-94.

As, some ppl say that if the interview s ok, then they take out I-94 from passport.

I know, how these ppl in doctors offices r learned, as in my case, lady in my vaccination paper, selected the wrong box n doctor instead of having knowledge signed it.

Which the USCIS, in response to it sent me an NOID.

If some experienced guys can tell me,

i never apllied for an AP, n interview was ok, according to Officer. However, he took out my I-94 from passport and gave me EAD back, as i have to send vaccination paper.

Is it a good sign for my AOS, if officer takes ur I-94?

  7. u can't say anything about USCIS. sometimes, thing looks fine, but later, they bring up more issues.

Our interview was good. We answered all kinds of questions and even before interview, officer told my wife that he can't issue me Gc due to missing papers, which we sent.

But instead, we got a NOID from DO. Which really screwed me up

So, it didn't help if our interview was ok n officer was nice.

But this makes sense that he was satisfied with our case, but his supervoise brought the ###### in.

I don't know, if it s a good sign, he took out I-94 from my passport.

I still don't know if my background check s done.

  8. I understand what u r passing through.

My interview was pretty much like urs. However, they never lost my document. They asked for RFEs and i sent them well in time.

Since last december, i m in same jeopardy. every day s like hell, u don't know what they r goin to do.

I know beaurocracy sucks and i have tried to through senator and congressman, senator responded by saying, ur case will be considered in the law and dam congressman, never replied, inspite of calling several times.

Of course, we need justice in law, but where s the law?

In the hands of bunch of beaurocrates.

  9. I m enjoying this thread. However, i will need also some points to clear out.

I didn't hear anyhting about name checks or other shits, but i m sending FREs and NOIDs at this moment.

When they start the name check thing? Is it during AOS process before interview or they start this thing as soon as ur paper work is completed?

However, we were told in interview that they he can't issue me GC today, as he needed two papers, fianancial and vaccination supplement.

  10. Backpakr,

U r not alone. Inspite of the fact that i got my EAD after few months of filing AOS, but i never found a job. Now my EAD s goin to expire next month, i could never use them and my wife s the one working and when i think about it it makes me depress too.

However, the things for immigrant are not that easy, like it used to be.

Also, my whole process and interview was good, but they r still pending my GC.

    Just hang on.

  11. sjoefl01,

Thanks for ur comments, i think that everyone understands the situation of security and etc.

I never objected on "extra questioning" sir and amazing thing is that they haven't. Because they never found problem with my background check, or name check or any other matching.

We appeared for interview and i was never asked about this garbage, as they r not kids sitting there n they don't know about me. If USCIS officer or some one can talk this bullshit to an unconcerened person on my behalf and while sitting before me are smiling n showing no problem?

Then, ask for papers, which they never mentioned, if they were having problem in bona fide relationship, why the immigration officer didn't feel any need to ask for it and confirm it in interview.

What s happening in Pakistan or elsewhere s political game.

If u think that USA is the champion of equality, justice and law for everyone and as i was told that we judge ppl on basis of their their personal character, Then my expectation, not to be made as an "escape goat" is right, right?

  12. I think u guys suggestion make sense. I am concentrating on the GC issue and hope that after sending pretty ample evidences, they will give me a ggod response. One thing, which i saw is that the immigrants are suffering in both case, it s their fault or USCIS fault, only thy suffer n their cases get affected.

What worries me that like i saw a glimp in my case, they don't know what they asked for or what s goin on in case, they just throw it on u.

What looks to me is like they r sovereign lords, n they care for no one, if they r suffering.

N i think that the only ppl r suffering with USCIS r ppl whose cases r genuine, the ppl who have bogus cases, they know already how to do it.

They pay big bucks and hire good attornies and make all papers, they need.

But ppl like us who have everything fine and fighting their cases their own. USCIS don't believe in them.

I already contacted our congressman and the woman in his took our data and she told us that i will be in touch soon.

We are also planning to send a letter to senator and get some assistance.

At least that USCIS get an idea that we care n r serious.

    Lets hope for the best

  13. Hello guys,

I want to know if anyone can help me in reporting a USCIS misconduct and irregularity.

I was advised by several ppl, not to take such n such step. they suggest to elicit sympathy from USCIS and don't make ur case bad etc etc.

However, untill this time, in working hard with them and doing anything they ask us to do.

But i didn't see any sympathy, but totally irregular responses so far, n now a threat to deny the cae?

so let see what u guys have an opinion and i will like to see if some one has an experience in doing it.

Let me make it clear, i m not expecting from CIS ombudsman to approve my case, but to ask for an independent review.

In interview, everything was fine and we answered every question they asked. The interviewing officer never demanded to see any evidence, we took with us.

He told my wife that he couldn't issue me green card today, as he needed updated financial papers and vaccination supplement. He never asked the updated affidavit of support in interview letter, either, but he insisted it only in interview no anyhting else.

However, the story of their misconduct doesn't start here, last year, in august i joint College to study in August 2005. i applied for financial aid. The college vice president contacted USCIS office in Louisville, KY to determine his case status to see if he is eligible for aid. He didn't get any aid, but the comments of college vice president on behalf of USCIS were "fiery". He told me, " USCIS people have deep a concern about you and you are a "national issue and suspect" and you are under suspicion due to your nationality, travel record, religion, and ethnic background. USCIS doesn't show discrimination but inside they do it and they are observing you closely". I was very disappointed with these remarks and the behavior of USCIS office. I want to know "Does the USCIS staff has the right to comment and discuss irrelevantly on his behalf to an unconcerned person?

The letter, they sent me on 3rd of this month about denial of case, was open and even not closed before dispatching., which upset us, as it could destrot our personal inforamation.

So these r few things, n so we r aggrevated by their hypocritic response. I have sent my documents now, but when i see their prejudice agenda, we get doscouraged and hopeless from these guys.

  14. sorry for a msitake in my signature, i corrected it.
